The Raven is Misbehaven

In June of last year, we were introduced to a new style of Boss Fight called Assassin: The Raven (1). Since then we've seen The Raven come and go and then he just disappeared.

With this feature came 3 achievements for killing The Assassin 1, 10 and 100 times were added (1). The now you see him/now you don't nature of this Boss Fight coupled with the low drop rates of Ammo items, killing the Raven 100 times was extremely unrealistic.

In July, the Requiescat in Pace Centesimus achievement was removed (1). This was an excellent example of how the site Get Satisfaction could be used by the players to make things happen in the game. As with most things that the players like, Zynga also removed Get Satisfaction. You can still view old content but it's no longer a source for the community to communicate with Zynga (1).

What we didn't know at the time was that that we should have asked for the Requiescat in Pace Decimus to removed as well. The Raven was pulled and returned on more than one occasion but the final blow was on when the Family Boss Fight feature was introduced. We were initially told that The Raven would return when the Family Boss Fight was over but then Zynga also said the Family Boss Fight was a permanent feature (1). The majority of the player base does not have the Requiescat in Pace Decimus achievement and currently there is no way for them to get it.

The first Family Boss fight was launched 7 months ago and The Raven Boss Fight has yet to return. The Raven has showed up in the game with his very own Assassin's Academy.  I guess he retired and resorted to teaching. The majority of the player base does not have the Requiescat in Pace Decimus achievement and there is no way for them to get it.

Well maybe there is! A player profile was discovered that "earned" the Requiescat in Pace Centesimus achievement on January 9, 2012. This is impossible for two reasons. That achievement was pulled and The Raven hasn't been around for 7 months. I won't post this profile link but this is a well known player and not a developer account. Most players are hoping to one day kill the Raven 10 times and this system of just handing out achievements that are impossible for players to get is not fair.

If you scroll through the achievements sections of their profile page, you can see they have an extra achievement. As of now, there are a total of 157 achievements (159 if you count the Poker Achievements that don't display for players who don't have them) and 29 Fight Achievements.
