We have 13 days to complete all 10 parts of the Dasvidaniya Limited Time Mission. For a list of all the parts and tasks, my walk through can be found here.
I went through the tasks and calculated the wait times and energy costs. It's not as bad as it initially appears. Assuming you don't have to wait on a timer to perform the first action of each task, you will have to wait a minimum of 6.3 days. This also assumes you perform each action the second the timers expire. With 13 days, there is plenty of wiggle room.
Mission Part | Longest Task | Timer (hours) | Total Wait Time (hours) |
---|---|---|---|

Total Wait Time | 152 hours 6.3 days |
If your Speakeasy in Chicago is at Level 2 or above, you won't need to do any waiting as you can make two items without having to wait for a timer. Lowering this number really helped the players.
Another task that helps with time issues is in Part 7. Instead of requiring us to win 4 wars, we only have to help in 4. You get credit as soon as you help and don't need to wait for the war to finish.
The energy requirements will probably cause more delay than waiting on timers. Three of the tasks requiring energy are tied to loot drops so the number of jobs and amount of energy will be different for each player. I listed the minimum energy it would take if the drop rates were 100%. Realistically they are probably more around 50%.

Mission Part | Job/Location | Requirements | Energy/Job *Ruby Level | Total Energy |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 |
| 20 Jobs | 918 | 18,360 |
3 |
| Loot 10 Widow's Fortunes | 162 | Varies Min:1,620 |
7 |

9 |
| 40 Jobs | 135 | 5,400 |
10 |
| Loot 15 Huecuvas | 621 | Varies Min:9,315 |
Total Energy | 40,365* |
*The energy costs will vary depending on the drop rate of the loot items. This total assumes a 100% drop rate which won't happen for any player.
One thing I did notice when going through this Mission is you won't get credit for all the items that drop. To prevent this from happening to you, slow down with the clicking. If you click too fast, you will get the item but it won't register towards your total in the Mission. You can see in the example below that I looted 10 Tommy Sharks but I only got credit for 5 of them. I refreshed the page to ensure it wasn't a display error and slowed down to get the rest of them.
There are also several tasks which require stamina. How long it will take depends on your stamina pool and your ability to get ices.

Whenever there is a task that requires us to ask our mafia for an item, we usually find that Zynga stole all of our existing items. We have seen this happen on 4 occasions and players who performed these tasks lost many hundreds or thousands of Computer Set-Ups, Body Bags, Confidential Records and Construction Workers (1), (2), (3),(4).
In Part 2, we need to ask our mafia for 15 Body Bags. I was expecting the same bug to resurface so I took a screen shot of my Body Bag total before I asked.
I was a little surprised to learn I gained 182 Body Bags. Instead of fixing the problem, Zynga must have turned the limits off the requests. Once you post your request, it will stay active until you collect and move on to the next part of the Mission. It's too bad this wasn't something more useful.

ReplyDeleteWhat happened to all the nice comments that were posted?
ReplyDeleteIf you get unlucky and wind up having to wait on each item with a timer it could set you back as much as 6-7 days which puts you closer to the max time. If people are like me they do things with a timer at set times of day and will have to wait for some. How many people will actually have everything waiting for them when they are ready for it?
ReplyDeleteIt'd be nice to have the mission, 2 days gone and still no sign of it.
ReplyDeleteyeah.. I don't have it either :)
ReplyDeleteI notice that when I'm doing the 50 ices in Chicago (level 3), I am not getting double credit for kills. Not a big issue, but the 8 kills I just got made me sigh! Oh Zynga
