For the hundreds of skill points and email bonuses I've picked up with ease I thank you. Now if only Zynga would remain decent and continue giving skill points instead of arena boosts that many of us will never use.
Need to change the name to Daily Bullshit Links--the Arena boosts are worthless and the e-mail "bonus" typically is a useless New York collection item or a minimal XP or stamina boost.

Someone in our family won 1,000 RPs - not kidding! Zynga fed it to them in batches of 300/300/400 I think over a couple of weeks. They went a bit crazy for a bit buying goodies, who wouldn't? He then piled it all into extra building in NY for skill points, last I heard his stats looked tidy :D

It used to be very easy to win on the JP Spins. Many times I won 400-300-250 and so on in one sitting. I would say for the last 8 months I have won 10 rps at most. They must have changed something. As far as the "BIG WINNERS" I don't think they exist. I noticed one winner named Fu** Y** (shocked look) or something very similar won the JP late last year, and again this year. there is a way to turn the toolbar on and off in your settings so you only see it when you want to use it. that way you can get 2 toolbar boosts for the day without seeing that ugly thing all the time.

Somebody pls explain me how Toolbar Bonus works? I have been trying for 3 days in a row, and I haven't been able to get the bonus. Every time I click it takes me to mafia wars game page. Until now, only once have i got a nice bonus of Submerge and Typhoon Sub by clicking toolbar bonus.
Pls anyone can explain how these things work. Also, I am not able to get stamina or energy bonuses every 8 hours as it is mentioned on the page... other players are able to get it...

If your toolbar bonus button isn't working here, make sure your browser has the actual toolbar installed and functional. Browser upgrades do occasionally break the bar, requiring you to upgrade the bar with Zynga.
Remember that the Toolbar bonus only works if you have a working version of the toolbar installed on your browser, even if you never actually have the toolbar showing in a usable form.

Read the post and visit the link that tells you what to do when it stops working. Zynga has retired the toolbar so only pirated copies work now. The Zynga one will work until the day it needs to be reinstalled. Once that happens to your account, you need to install a different version.

Sorry, no they haven't ended, I just messed them up. It's fixed now and I added a comment to go to our fan page if these don't work. Mike posts them on the fan page and he never makes mistakes :)
MWLL: Check on your Google docs list of links for the email bonuses.
A bunch of the links won't work because they have blank spaces before or after the URL (and in one case a blank in the middle of the URL). This can be fixed by switching it back over a normal google docs spreadsheet, then having find and replace replace all the " " (1 hit of the spacebar in the "find" box) with nothing typed into the replace box.
I had copied the entire file over to my google docs so I'd have my own copy, then had to edit half of the links to turn them from text back to links. The nasty thing about the way Google Docs displays, is that it deletes the leading and trailing spaces in the VIEW of each box, but not the actual text, making anything with more than the URL itself be treated as plain text.
almost 2 months later and the spaces that prevent half the links on the Google docs list from functioning property haven't been fixed. Any chance that they ever will?
It should be a simple fix of switching to spreadsheet view and finding every " " and replacing it with nothing, then saving the file.
IT technically was retired a long time ago - it just kept on working (just not installable) until recently. I had one FF installation that still actually had the bar in place (instead of having to use this page to claim it), and it went blank last week.
My guess is that they finally cleaned out the code that allowed it to work, as I tried reinstalling the IE version from an old backup, and got 404 errors in the bar when trying to choose a game.

Sorry about that. I'm rarely online at 12am and it has gotten to the point where I forget to update this page too often. The same things are on the fan page and like you said easy to find so it will just take some getting used to. If I find a lot of players want me to add it back I will.

For years I have seen those without this knowledge fret thinking a bounty had been placed on them (or they've been robbed or whatever).
PEOPLE. The email bonus started when you would get an email based on an action in the game (if someone declared war on you / if someone added you to the hitlist ). When you clicked the email, you got the link to retaliate plus a bonus. It was due to the creativity and effort of one guy to take these emails and make links so EVERYONE can get a bonus. This is why you get the "MWLL EMAIL BONUS has put a bounty on you" with whatever bonus it gives. All it means is that account worked at getting emails from the game and the easiest way to get them daily was to put someone on the hitlist. (if you don't believe me, ask everyone to post what their action says - I bet you'll find the same person supposedly put a bounty on their head also) The only thing that differs is the actual bonus.
Do you really thing a site as helpful as MWLL would post something to sucker you into being hitlisted???? I

I think Zynga needs to update this loot feature aswell. 40 in new york days was ok but look at london 1K+ for a single click or maybe make the e-mail bonus level appropriate....

ReplyDeleteRead the post and visit the link that tells you what to do when it stops working. Zynga has retired the toolbar so only pirated copies work now. The Zynga one will work until the day it needs to be reinstalled. Once that happens to your account, you need to install a different version.

ReplyDeleteSorry, no they haven't ended, I just messed them up. It's fixed now and I added a comment to go to our fan page if these don't work. Mike posts them on the fan page and he never makes mistakes :)
DeleteMWLL: Check on your Google docs list of links for the email bonuses.
DeleteA bunch of the links won't work because they have blank spaces before or after the URL (and in one case a blank in the middle of the URL). This can be fixed by switching it back over a normal google docs spreadsheet, then having find and replace replace all the " " (1 hit of the spacebar in the "find" box) with nothing typed into the replace box.
I had copied the entire file over to my google docs so I'd have my own copy, then had to edit half of the links to turn them from text back to links. The nasty thing about the way Google Docs displays, is that it deletes the leading and trailing spaces in the VIEW of each box, but not the actual text, making anything with more than the URL itself be treated as plain text.
almost 2 months later and the spaces that prevent half the links on the Google docs list from functioning property haven't been fixed. Any chance that they ever will?
DeleteIt should be a simple fix of switching to spreadsheet view and finding every " " and replacing it with nothing, then saving the file.

ReplyDeleteIT technically was retired a long time ago - it just kept on working (just not installable) until recently. I had one FF installation that still actually had the bar in place (instead of having to use this page to claim it), and it went blank last week.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that they finally cleaned out the code that allowed it to work, as I tried reinstalling the IE version from an old backup, and got 404 errors in the bar when trying to choose a game.

The 6/19/2014 link doesn't work @ 7:25 AM Central time. Clicking on it takes you to the Stamina icon but no bonus?

ReplyDeleteSorry about that. I'm rarely online at 12am and it has gotten to the point where I forget to update this page too often. The same things are on the fan page and like you said easy to find so it will just take some getting used to. If I find a lot of players want me to add it back I will.

ReplyDeleteFor years I have seen those without this knowledge fret thinking a bounty had been placed on them (or they've been robbed or whatever).
PEOPLE. The email bonus started when you would get an email based on an action in the game (if someone declared war on you / if someone added you to the hitlist ). When you clicked the email, you got the link to retaliate plus a bonus.
It was due to the creativity and effort of one guy to take these emails and make links so EVERYONE can get a bonus. This is why you get the "MWLL EMAIL BONUS has put a bounty on you" with whatever bonus it gives. All it means is that account worked at getting emails from the game and the easiest way to get them daily was to put someone on the hitlist.
(if you don't believe me, ask everyone to post what their action says - I bet you'll find the same person supposedly put a bounty on their head also) The only thing that differs is the actual bonus.
Do you really thing a site as helpful as MWLL would post something to sucker you into being hitlisted???? I
