Chicago Ratios, Equipment, Consumables and Loot

When Chicago was launched, I made individual posts for Districts 1, 2 and 3 and the Bootlegging Operation. We are getting a lot of questions on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page so this post is a summary of the three districts that will hopefully answer the most common questions. Once Chicago is fully mastered, many want to know which is the best job to do. Since none of the loot items are very helpful, it's best to do the job with the best Experience/Energy Ratio. Comparing the ratios of the 3 Districts, the best one is the second job of District 2.

In order to do the jobs above, you need to buy the required equipment from the Chicago City Store. The cost for each item varies between accounts depending on if you own a Abelha Helicopter which is the mastery item for District 4 in Brazil. You will get a 2% discount on all City Store items regardless of the destination if you have a Bronze Level item, 4% for Silver, 7% for Gold and 10% for Ruby.

Below is a list of the exact number of each item you will need to fully master all three districts. If you are short on Clams, you can sell equipment items not needed for the job you are working on for 50% of the purchase price. I found this wasn't necessary as just doing the jobs generated enough Clams. Fighting is the best way to get an abundance of Clams. The cost shown is with a Ruby Level Abelha Helicopter.

You will need consumable items to complete some of the jobs in Chicago. Below is a list of the items and how many of each you will need. Use your 2X Mastery Boosts and Chicago Crew Bonuses strategically and won't need as many as shown.

There are a total of 18 Chicago specific loot items that drop while doing jobs. None of these items help my stats but if they help yours farm in the district listed to acquire more. Each district randomly drops 6 different loot items.

Each district has a mastery item. As with all loot items that contain stars, you only get one of the highest level you achieved. There are 4 levels for each item and they correspond to the level of mastery you have completed for each district. In addition to good stats, these mastery items also contain special abilities that are applied to your character.

Once you fully master Chicago, it's not a bad idea to continue doing fights, robs and jobs. There are 2 districts coming soon and it will make things easier if you have plenty of Clams. I do the second job in District 2 because it has the best exp/energy ratio. Because fighting in Chicago is just like Brazil, it's not the place to go if you want to maximize on your number of ices per stamina used. After I finish my 150 ices for Family Progression, I fight in Chicago. Below is a 25,290 stamina run and I got 26,945 Clams.
