By now, it should be well established that most players were affected by the war loot rollback. Many are confused and don't understand what happened because they never used scripts to help in wars. Zynga never stated script use as a reason for the rollback. There were times when many players were able to collect unlimited war loot because of a glitch that didn't recognize the cap of 5 helper rewards a day and there was also the matter of speed clicking the last target in a war which yielded multiple identical loot rewards.

Once the rollback was complete, Lady Vanda had lost a total of 10,486 points from her attack score and 7,443 from her defense. If you add up attack and defense points of the loot that was taken away, you will get very different numbers.
I remember how Zynga handled the Marketplace Attack Bundle glitch (1). They rolled accounts back and gave a good explanation and even told us the name of the item (with stats) that was credited to our accounts. I don't recall anybody being upset about this one.

There are all kinds of threads on Get Satisfaction and the Zynga forums and the players are not happy. This is the perfect opportunity to use this image found on the Mafia Task Force Forums. Zynga never disappoints in the "we fuc!ed up so now you can make fun of us" department.

I don't use a war bot. You can collect 152 war items every 14 days. I have 296 lvl 5 loot. How long has lvl 5 been open???? And the total doesn't count RP purchases of Declare Wars......It's baloney.
ReplyDeleteI have been figthing with many on the "Get Satisfaction Site, over this very point, in allowing Zynga to get away with a so called "Roll back" we end up with a wal-mart feeling of cheap, and only works for a short time, I'll say it one more time, Zynga can not punish the players/customer for their own failed actions, and every time they try only the player will get hurt. What kind of company is Zynga? Everyone who plays Zynga Games need to take a stand and boycott Zynga for 30 days, But it seems like Zynna Nobody real cares.

I, for one, am thrilled that Zynga has finally done something about all the cheaters out there. How ridiculous was it that you could not help in a war because the bots beat you to it. And to all the "innocents" out there: yeah right.
ReplyDeleteI got the message as well. I do not use a bot and rarely assisted in wars as it is virutal impossible. However upon checking I did not loose any def or att. So I guess I am one of the lucky ones?!? I agree that there is no proper information that they only piss off their hard core players. I guess we will see another drop in daily players stats after this snafu.
ReplyDeleteI never once used a bot or multiple clicks in a war...in fact most times I was the second or third person in. I only help my immediate family in wars so max 6 a day. However, on some ocassions even though I clicked only once I would get 5 or 6 loot items from the same war. Is that my fault? I know I'm small potatoes compared to the wall bots, but I got rolled back too because of inept programming on the part of the Zynga developers. After this new debacle, how many will be playing daily now? Good job Zynga, you have sealed the doom of your cash cow Mafia Wars!

Another casualty of collateral damage by Zynga is the Live Chat guy. I really let him have it. If he followed my advice he would need a proctologist to perform a zygnectomy. I am boycotting, unfortunately after the withdrawal synmptoms abate, I may never want to play again.

wwoohoo.. Am the only 1 zynga have not rollback.. because i wasn't complaining and whinging that my friend have 210att because they got a lot of war loot... My att and def is untouched.. I saw guys 200k regressed to 180k att less than me... Why Everyone could keep it secret.. I saw on community page or family the were complaint that some friends are cheating... MAfia is game of killing Icing cheating robing whaTever bad you have to do to become the Best.. Jen stop posting some of the glitch or hints to some players because they can't keep for themselves.. ReplyDeleteI am glad the rollback happened, I got the message too but they have removed nothing, or at least nothing significiant, perhaps a few of loot I got from double clicking, I am for once glad that Zynga starting repairing this buggy s*it which is the declare war, I mean that some could get like 10 war loot per won war, than another 10 war loot par finishing another war...I mean if you had a few friends (and or multiple accounts) and could produce this clicking glitch to max, you could farm the 5*10=50 items + 3*10=30, almost 80 items a day, now add to this the fact that some people did not have the 5 help cap...I mean it was bullcrap! of having people with 500 war loot not more than a week after war 5 was released, I am glad and very glad again that they repaired the feature, I won't call these people cheaters cos' they weren't, they used a glitch and this is by all means Zynga's fault that there was a glitch to exploit, more over since NOT ALL players had the chance to reproduce these 2 glitches which made other players incredibely strong virtually without fighting (wars can be done entirely with multi accounts, they require no stamina, no energy, no nothing, a level 5 player can do it equally, you just need to make 50 facebook account)
ReplyDeletenot sure why yall are bitching and moaning. first you want zynga to clean up the game and wheter nor not you cheated, used a bot or fell on more loot than you were supposed to have. the bottom line is that you knew you could only get 5 a day. so stop all the whining about you are gonna boycott mw blah blahblah next week you will have another reason to whine about something. the positive thing about this is that they took back loot you werent supposed to have be it from cheating, a glitch or osmosis. no one is a victim here it was clearly told that you can only get 5 a day and you got more so they came and take it back. it wasnt yours to begin with so cut it out with all the zynga boycott bs. you want a clean game or a bot game take a side and stop whining on both side of the fence.
ReplyDeleteThere is something wrong with the calculations of the math based on those screen shots. The Before posts show where the person has both massive active attack war loot and massive active defense war loot, but only shows a "gained" in one of the stats. That could explain the discrepancy in the "before" and "after" numbers. I don't think that grouping script can be used to accurately show gains and losses as there may be a few more variables on what their lowest loots are.

ReplyDeletesome of u are saying that we all need to get 5 rewards per day.well for ur info the war reward were 5 on every 8 hours,thats 15 rewards in 24h.and if u count ur loot now u will see that they took u everything.for example i might get 5 paragliders every 8 hours,i will click in wars where paraglider is reward,and in my inventory they left me only 7 paragliders...and they left me 50 emu,which i dont use at all.do u still think that is fair?at all players the good rewards are max 7,and the loot that we dont use is over 40,thats isnt called "we adjusted",its called "we robbed u".
ReplyDeleteHow was anyone to know that the war loot cap of 5 per day wasn't another slow roll-out. I just play the game as the code allows, so any loot I earn should be mine. When I realized I wasn't getting hit with cap yet, I was even more aggressive hitting wars and collecting loot, knowing the cap would hit at some point. I didn't expect a roll-back since other features are gradually released, why not this one? This roll-back is completely unfair to any but those who ran the war bots 24/7.
ReplyDeleteWhile Zynga is doing roll-backs, maybe they should consider refunding their advertisers for the money the advertisers paid based on player online time on their pages, since by doing roll-back they are invalidating those hours of our playing time.

What a joke, several people think what zygna did was okay, but rest assure they did not loose anything, I lost only about 3000 att and 3000 defense because of this so called glitch. I know that most of the things they left are useless to me. I did not use bots, and they even said you do not fall in that catagory, but I did not get any back. The only way to fight them back is to not play, and especially do not buy rps.

Technically isn't all "cheating"??? I can not fault anyone for using bots for wars, it seems they are the ONLY ones who can get in, plus everytime I post a war it is nice to know I will win in 20 seconds as the same 4-5 people will always be there to help.
ReplyDeleteI see all this complaining about not being able to get in a war... well, start your own small family and post the war link to ONLY them.. So much complaining. They DO need to fix the wars, with only 5 people needed to win now. However, the use of bots/scripts is getting so widespread it is almost impossible to close the gap with higher strength players, no matter how hard you play..... personally, think they should block every single script/bot, and go back to the old ways.. before all the cheaters found a way to rip off the system for their benefit in the game!
