Many players find when they are close to leveling up they can ask their mafia to help them with jobs to get the extra experience they need. In the past, you could go to Bangkok, Italy and/or Las Vegas and ask for help without having to use any energy.

To collect your experience bonus you needed to go to the Home Page in Bangkok.
Bangkok is gone so we know we can't ask for help with that job anymore. I've seen a few players ask how to get your bonus for Las Vegas and Italy so I looked into it tonight. I took a screen shot of my experience before posting my job help requests.
Once I posted the help requests, I could see that players were helping me from any page.
I verified that 10 people had helped with each job by trying to help with a different account. I got the "You are too late to help on this job" message so I knew it was ok to look for my experience bonus.
I traveled around the game and didn't see it anywhere. When I looked at my experience points, they hadn't budged. I refreshed the game a few time just to make sure. The only conclusion that can be made from this is that we no longer get experience points for posting Las Vegas and Italy jobs. Your mafia will still get experience points for helping so it's not a total waste of time to post these requests. I had already requested help on a New York job today so wasn't able to verify if we get experience for that. I will add to this post tomorrow.

i'm still receiving xp from ny jobs,ask job help in ny and after some time goto home page u will see the difference in xp but for italy and las vegas u must travel to bangkok home page to receive xp or otherwise u will receive the next time u ask for help,check it,it works :)

ReplyDeleteThere has always been a timer when YOU ask for help. How long it takes for the help-xp to arrive I'm not certain, but I think it is/was 24 hours!
ReplyDeleteOn th other hand, if you very close to level up, do this:
Go to "My Mafia" and get the 'Mafialadder' open.
Then, for simplicity, open the sorted in rank (so you know where you are) and start going through your mafia. Just so their image loads up, don't care about helping them right now!!!
When all mafia (available, you'll probably only get something just over 500 ppl) you sort them by "Need Help"! Now you can easily help all that need help. Some you might be to late to help, but all that need help is in ONE line!
If you still have some ppl left after confirming to helped them, they need more help! Just go to another sorting, for example "Need Energy", and then go back to "Need Help" and you can help those still in the list again!
These helping-xp you get instantly and you can hopefully level up with them!
And don't forget that you can save energy/consumables for posting the job help requests :)

ReplyDeleteJillian: I just have a very quick question. Before Bangkok closed when we called for help on a job on the home screen of Bangkok you cuold see when the job was filled by 10 people and it told you what your exp and money made was. Is that feature gone now?

Jillian: So when we call for help only the people who help get exp?
Rosalia P.: You still get the XP, but there is now where to show who has helped
I dont receive my $$$$ or exp for Vegas or Italy right away....it sometimes takes 24hrs but usually before I post the next days jobs !!
ReplyDeleteI always had to go to Bangkok to receive my points. I guess since BK is closed the hook to release the points after help has been given is gone.
ReplyDeletebangkok is the key in receiving exp and money rewards...now that BK is closed theres no way to collect it for now...way to go ZYNGA...U SUCK!!!
ReplyDeleteI have only received points I needed from NY jobs for many months..nothing from any of the others....and the NY exp would turn up sometime within the next 24 hours...always very helpful...I have given up asking for help anywhere but in Brazil....at least you can see the paltry dent made in the amount of exp you need to finish the job....thanks once again Zyngoids....yu are pushing us all away bit by bit
