Stamina Utilization

Share:

Chris (one of my favorite mafia members who has been with me since about day 1) and I were trying to figure out the best way to utilize our stamina.  We both stayed on the Bronze level of mastery in District 8 of Las Vegas and were trying to decide if it would be best to farm Vegas High End Loot (VHEL) doing fighting jobs or fight to get Fighting High End Loot (FHEL), Victory Coins, and Fight Mastery progression.  I decided to burn through some stamina today and compare Fighting Jobs, Fighting, and Robbing.

I used 4,830 stamina doing the cheapest job in District 8 of the Fight Pathway.  I used RepeatJob Vegas Beta by Team Spockholm to document my results.
Las Vegas Fight Path Job
4,830 Stamina
I then used the same amount of stamina fighting off the PvP (player vs. player) list in Las Vegas using Brawler by Arun's Mafia Tools.
Las Vegas PvP Fighting
4,830 Stamina
While I was at it, I decided to do the same stamina run robbing in Las Vegas using Robber Beta by Team Spockholm.
Las Vegas Robbing
4,830 Stamina
I looked at everything we gain utilizing stamina in the 3 ways demonstrated above and made the following chart to bring it all together.  Other than the Exp/Stamina ratios these results are specific for my account and will vary based on your characters Class, Top Mafia bonuses (which will change your exp/stamina ratio if they aren't maxed), vaulted Lotto and Las Vegas Collections, Job Mastery Items, attack/defense scores, equipment scores (your diminishing returns on loot) and current job, fighting and robbery mastery levels.  To get your own personal results, do some stamina runs using the tools referenced above.  You can see from the results that PvP fighting is probably the best way to use my stamina.  The exp/stamina ratio is much better, I gained a lot more $V, and got Victory Coins which I can use in the Marketplace to buy loot items and energy refills.  Although FHEL is not as good as VHEL, it still increases my overall attack and defense scores.  One other thing that will factor into your decision is time.  It took about 5 min to get the Fight Job data and almost 3 hours to run the same amount of stamina using the PvP fight list.  Please comment on what you think is the best way to utilize stamina.
Robbing in Las Vegas seems pretty useless and would not be a good way to use your stamina.  If you want to rob to gain Robbery Mastery, it's best to do so in different cities.  Bossy Don and VCDBurn have some excellent Robbing results posted on TopMafia.Info.  To view the posts, click on the titles of the images below.  It's now recommended that you do your robbing in NY.  The exp/stamina ratio is slightly less than that in Bangkok, but you gain Car, Weapon, and Armor Parts.

VCDBurn went a little nuts using Armory Robber by team Spockholm and got himself  847 Armor Parts.  Bossy Don explains that this isn't the best use of your stamina as the exp/stamina ratio is 1.61.  The drop rate for Armor Parts is 4.6% so if you need them, this is the way to go.

  5. i've found no discernible difference in FHEL drops depending on which city i was fighting out of. NYC and LV seemed pretty optimal for me (car parts, weapon parts, etc.)

there *MIGHT* be something to this, though, if all the loot drops are on the same loot table. in that case, because LV has so much 'junk' drops (the collections, vault and casino pieces), it might push more 'regular' (MHEL, BHEL, FHEL, etc) drops right off the loot table.

might be worth me tossing a few more stamina bars at it to see what comes up.

as far as the other stats go -- i can more often than not achieve *SLIGHTLY* better averages robbing in NYC than in bangkok (usually between 2.63 and 2.72 versus 2.65 and 2.69.) my win percentage isn't terribly great (usually around 90%) and i hardly ever use burners (unless i fail an armor depot.)

in terms of XP, i find robbing far superior to fighting (more XP and it takes me about 10 mins tops to clear a bar -- i'll be lucky to finish a bar in less than an hour fighting.) the 2.25 ratio is about where my fighting winds up more often than not as well -- sometimes i can get right up around 2.30, but that's really it (my win percentages are usually ~98-99%.)

and not a day goes by when i don't want to kick myself for not staying on bronze in D7-8...:)

  6. since i do not have near the stamina you have i just do the standard fighting for the loot drops and victory coins to max my stats and buy energy fills to level faster so i can put the skill points to stamina or energy and as soon as i can make a complete run and still level i will then start to rob to get the diamonds drops but keep putting skill points to stamina because of the high demand robbing takes

  7. The XP ratios are progressive in Vegas Jobs. I'm only Gold on District 6 and the Eliminate a Hill Supplier Job has a 2.25 ratio. It's only 1.81 at Bronze. I don't have the Stamina to do as large scale testing as you, but with the Mastermind bonus for jobs, you'll probably do a lot better than 1.72 at a higher Mastery level on D8 as well. The trade off being of course, the huge stamina demand of higher mastery. gren99 would probably be able to give a good trial run while he's kicking himself ;)
