Yesterday Zlatko Petkovski posted a few images of what we all know as Manhattan on the fan page. These wouldn’t be a big deal and could easily be blamed on a server hiccup except for two things. Zlatko doesn’t have Manhattan on his account and the title says Las Vegas instead of New York like it normally does (1),(2). David Reedy had the same thing happen to him while in Las Vegas, he also has never had Manhattan on his account (1). Could it be possible that Zynga is going to do something with Manhattan so all players can experience it?
For a limited time, Zynga offered Manhattan instead of New York to a small percentage of new accounts. I don’t have Manhattan on any of my accounts but was able to play it while verifying a serious exploit (1). Zynga will convert accounts with Manhattan back to New York but not the other way around (1). The main reason for this is because accounts with Manhattan are unable to perform Mission tasks in New York. For all the details regarding Manhattan, visit the Mafia Wars Wiki Manhattan Page.

ReplyDeleteI had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday. Never had Manhattan on this account. I also took a screen shot wondering what the hell it was. It didn't let me do the jobs there tho. After leaving I couldn't get back to that screen. My MW performace was in the toilet all day that day. Over 60 sec lag from click to click. What BS.
