This Feed Has Expired. Try Again Later

I’m sure many of you have noticed by now that the majority of your Poker Card requests don’t work. I’ve been tracking mine and they don’t seem to follow a pattern based on time. The majority of my requests return the “This feed is expired. Try again later” message.

In addition to the “This feed is expired. Try again later” message, I’ve also been getting a lot of  “Sorry, you’ve already helped your friend with this request.” messages. I don’t know what this is all about but I do know that it was over 24 hours since I last clicked on a Poker Card request.

Poker Card requests have taken over the news feeds, they are everywhere! They need to be because we need to successfully click on 120 of these a day.  The problem is the majority of them don’t work so in realty you need to click on several hundred in order to get the message you want to see.

Because searching for and clicking on 300+ Poker Card requests is nearly impossible, it’s recommended that you use the Stream Scanner by Team Spockholm and hope for the best. Based on player reports, once you hit your limit the reset time for collecting more Poker Cards is 12am your local time.

If Zynga doesn’t want us to use scripts, they sure have a funny way of portraying that message. This event almost forces one to use a scanning script because who has time to find 120 working requests? Below is a 20 request sample of my Stream Scanner log. Out of 20 clicks, I only got 7 Poker Cards. The rest of the clicks were processing errors, expired feeds or erroneous duplicate requests. This was the fist scan I have performed in over 24 hours so all those “Sorry, you’ve already helped your friend with this request” message are wrong considering the scan was only for the past 4 hours.

In addition to the news feed requests having issues, the game itself is also bugged. Yesterday we got a rash of hinky results posted on the fan page. Zynga blames scripts and multiple windows but Kazi Parban wasn’t doing either of these when his two pair go beat by Juliana’s fictitious two pair! 

Many players have sent me Customer Support transcripts and have been told that there are problems with the news feed requests and they are working on it. Because Mafia Poker is a timed event, we should get an extension as three of the ten days have been bugged.

The only saving grace in this event is Zynga nerfed it. It would be extremely foolish to purchase Poker Cards with when all we get is one loot item.

If you compare the stats of the highest level Single Malt to that of an attack vehicle you can buy in the Marketplace for 35 reward points, it becomes obvious that Zynga nerfed themselves as well!
