Not all of us have the new promotion feature that offers additional bonuses just for leveling up (1). I don't and I feel like I'm missing out. I know some of you felt this way about the Mini-Energy Packs and are just now realizing they aren't all that. I'm sure the new promotion bonuses are different and I can't wait to get them on my account. Vla posted the following image of quite a collection of the loot items you can get on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page. Now I want it even more. I know I can scan my news feeds and hope to grab one of these items(1). It just takes too long and they are usually gone by the time I get there.

ReplyDeletei have it on my main account and the best i've gotten so far was 1 defense point. most of the time i've just gotten some pretty crappy loot of no consequence to my 501. the stuff they keep showing you (and making me drool over) remains very elusive.
ReplyDeletei have been player for a little over a year now..and a lot of changes have been made..not good for the players of mafia wars.all i have is how gready zygna really is i have went from being a hardcore cc player to a non cc player...all the good zygna has done is gone...thiers no real loot anymore to collect to build u up ...they have removed all the build -ups loot to make u stronger..... now it sound like they wannabe a mommy and we are all babies....NOT
ReplyDeleteNew Zealand here and am very surprised that I have this feature well before others in America. You get one of them random items up there every 5th level up. The levels in between u get extra defence or animal feed etc. The new things coming through on MW are making it a lot better I must add. Keep up the good work Jen.
ReplyDeleteI had 5 golden promotions and 25 normal ones (golden is always the one with a 5 or 0 at the end) and I have not gotten one useful item...the item get the most is Arrivederci which is an unusable low quality gun, from those 4 items I got one nine tails which is also unusable since I have tainted blades maxed out...you are missing out on anything special, trust me...
ReplyDeleteGot them on both accounts, sometimes gives defence pts which is an improvement over the previous leveling up of just 5 skill pts. Also got the mini-energy packs and those hopefully will not be around long. When i was due my energy pack, had to send out reqs to mafias to ask for them and wait for them to respond. And some did not respond quickly enough, had to send out quite a lot of these reqs. If anything is going to make me quit this is it, just disturbs my gameplay.
ReplyDeleteLike them. The "bigger" bonuses are when leveling to multiples of 5. The bonuses in b/w are more typical and are much like MB's, Coffins, etc. . . It also gives another chance to share the bonus which seems better than the typical level up bonus posts.

ReplyDeleteNext, I hope the Mini Energy Packs work for you, this is just for a limited time but I consider that as every player gets 6 Mini Packs with 25 % of energy boost every 24 hours, they can be useful because you get just a small but important percent of the energy to accomplish a specific Mission and if you are close to Master it and you level up, the percentage of energy that gets lost as you level up, will not be as much as in the regular refill of Energy Pack in which you have no other option but to use it once and if you level up, the amount gets waisted.
Won't let me collect on any bonuses when I level up if I have unused skill points. I don't know what's up with that... imo, it sucks because I like to always have a reserve of some skill points and distribute them in masse. However the pop-up just sits there and stares at me unless I allocate the pts and then reveals a crappy bonus (i.e. sky blue). Now I guess I get the choice of continuing to save up my pts and forgoe the mystery bonus or spend them and take my chances of getting something crappy. So ZYNGA, if it ain't broke - DON'T F'ING CHANGE IT!!!!!!!
