A week or so ago, I told you about an application called Checklist Server that
Team Spockholm was busy working on
(1). The concept of Checklist Server is to allow you to gain access to your Checklist bookmark from any computer regardless if the cookies were cleared since the last use.
The initial Beta group was open to 50 people and it's now been updated to include 2,500.
To check it out and start using it, follow the instructions below.
1. Go to the
Checklist Server Application and allow permission for it to access your basic Facebook information.
Or if you are already allowed the application permission but didn't select a password, go to the
Checklist Server Application Page and select "Go to App".
2. Select a password that you will use whenever you want to use the application. Make sure it is a unique password and NOT your Facebook password. Team Spockholm has no interest in your Facebook password and this is a password to use only for the application. In the example below, I chose Spock On but that's not really my password. Select "Register Account" when you are finished.
3. If you did everything correctly, you will now get the Checklist Server Bookmarklet. Click, drag and drop the Checklist Server Bookmarklet into your bookmark toolbar.
4. Go to your Mafia Wars game, unframe it and click on Checklist Server. Your own personal Checklist will appear and all the data from the last use will not be disrupted regardless of when or where you last used it.
5. Follow the instructions for the Checklist bookmark from this point on. Everything is exactly the same and updates will occur automatically. If you haven't used the Checklist bookmark yet, instructions can be found on this blog
