Zynga Poker Cross-Game Promotion

Zynga is on fire with these cross-game promotions.  Currently we have things going on in Cafe World,  FrontierVille, FarmVille, and now Poker is back.  If you haven't played Poker yet, read my article Zynga Texas HoldEm Basics.

Before you get started, make sure you unblock the application and give it permission to access your account information.

By now you should have many options to get started with the promotion. There will be a new Poker icon on top of your game header, a banner, and a home page message.  Click on any of these to get started.  If these aren't showing up in your game yet, use the following link to get there.

When you click on any of the three options above, you will get the following pop-up.

Click "Play Poker" again and you will be directed to the Zynga Poker. Many players, including myself, have troubles loading this game.  If for some reason it doesn't load, go back to Mafia Wars to start over.  It's important you enter through Mafia Wars when you first start so you get credit towards the bonus for any progress you make.  When your game finally loads and you went through the right link, you will get this guy telling you what you already know.

Click "Play Now" to begin.  I always take a screen shot when I start a cross-promotional game.  That way if you don't get the promised bonus, you have proof that you did the work.  If you don't know how to do this, read my article How To Make A Screen Shot.  It will probably take a while to get the bonus.  Because of all the previous promotions, I'm at Level 12. I'm not going to worry about it because 5 Attack Skill Points and 10 Hired Guns isn't worth all the work it would take for me to advance 3 levels. Zynga please bring back the stamina refills!

Mike Nestor, one of my mafia members already finished!  When he reached his 3rd level, he got a pop-up in Zynga Poker.

When he clicked on "Claim Mafia Prize!", he was directed back to his Mafia Wars account and got the bonus.  Great job Mike!
