Yesterday we showed you a popup that some players received for a new feature called Power Job [1]. Not many players have the option to Power Job but fortunately for us Martin from Team Spockholm does. We can now provide more details. Many thanks to Martin and Brandon for providing the backcode information.
Those who use scripts may not see the need for faster jobbing. If you don’t have enough energy, stamina, consumables or currency to do 10 jobs the game will automatically do as many as you have the required resources for. New Power Job buttons have been added to both energy and stamina jobs of District 10 in South Africa and all you need to do is click on it.
Once you get the feature, the Spockholm Toolbar layout of the job buttons will be modified to include the Power Job buttons. The ‘Burn’ button will behave as normal and only do single jobs.
If you have the feature, RepeatJob has been modified on the backup server and it’s important to set the delays to 4 and 4. The Power Job still needs to wait out server calls and will do 10 jobs every 4 seconds. It’s estimated that single jobs are limited to 3 requests per 1 second. So normally we get 12 jobs per 4 seconds, but figuring in latency and processing time, 10 jobs per 4 seconds seems like it'd be faster ( and less server load).
With the level cap now at 300,000 those who are racing to get there will be leveling much faster if they use their stamina on jobs. There are currently 8 players who are over level 200,000 and this will help [1]. The rest of us will like this feature for the carry-over experience as excessive wasted energy will be a thing of the past.
I wonder how many "Normal" players will even be able to do 10 jobs in 1 refill, again Zynga panders to the energy/stamina hoes, way to go..
ReplyDeleteall modern fighter/players are " eng/stam hoes" as its the way to play if your a credit card or free player.
DeleteTo still be leveling with exp ratio of 3.5 or more adding to att/skill is not the norm its the play ground of the dinosaur MW player.
Adaptation and exploitation of changing parameters is a character of intelligence and creativeness.
So why not open your mind and adapt or die off kicking and screaming blaming everyone else!
p.s. if it can only be clicked every 4 secs as stated it wont be an advantage to the eng/stam hoes.
normal is 3 x job per sec = 12 jobs per 4 secs
power is 10 x job per 4 sec = 10 jobs per 4 secs
therefore if the above info is correct its slower than normal not as stated in the final conclusion in the blog post !!!!!!!!
It can be clicked as fast as one can click but it takes 4 seconds for the server call to go through. So it's 10 jobs per 4 seconds. Thank you for spotting a typo. It should say 3 jobs per 4 seconds. I fixed it.
Deletesorry im confused can you imagine speaking to a child (no baby voice) :
Deletenormal = how many jobs per 4 secs
power = how many jobs per 4 secs
to compare which is faster.
did you mean normal = 3 jobs/4sec and power = 10 jobs/4sec as the post above still says normal = 12/4sec and power = 10/4secs making power slower?
Sorry...here is exactly what Brandon said.........In theory using the gray limit of 3 request per second, that'd be 12 jobs per 4 seconds standard, but figuring in latency and processing time, 10 jobs per 4 seconds seems like it'd be faster ( and less server load). So it wasn't a typo, I just thought I made a mistake from your explanation.
DeleteAnonymous 2, I am not blaming anybody except Zynga, if modern fighters are energy/stamina hoes then how can they be fighters as well, the paying ones yes I can see that, but free players, please enlighten me how a free player can be an energy/stamina hoe and still be regarded as a fighter. this game was originally designed for fighting, hense the name Mafia WARS, I am one of the "Dinosaurs" as you put it and still enjoy the fighting side, although there is not much of that left now, and I can assure you I will not die off kicking and screaming.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason why energy/stamina hoes can be classed fighters is because of this they put all of their level up stats on energy or stamina. Doing this allows them to self level which in turn gives them more chances at rp and skill points (attack/defense) When 2x builds come on they can then use those rp to buy builds with attack and/or defense points. I think it is more beneficial to put level up stats on energy because in an essence you would have an unlimited stamina pool leveling on the best ratio job from D10 of South Africa.
DeleteI know I am not a math major (oh wait, I was a math major in high school), but 10 jobs / 4 seconds is not faster than 12 jobs per 4 seconds. I must be missing some subtlety in the way it is processed.
ReplyDeleteThe 12 per 4 seconds still needs 3 server calls, the 10 per 4 seconds only needs 1 server call.
DeleteAny idea why some account have it and others don't?
ReplyDeleteand when it will be rolled out to all accounts? :/ Zynga not giving any info? :(
Yea, I need it also ! Got SA finished long time ago. but no power job here.
ReplyDeleteRoll it out already!
I tried power, when I have more energy then I can spent, but even when I have energy for 10 job at once, it took some energy from other level (why?), for Example I have 49000 energy but need only 48300, per 10 job: Used power and lvl up, and I expect full energy in new lvl, but it take approximately 20000 energy form new lvl for what?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not working for me as above suggests it should in terms of carrying the XP. Just hit the power job button when requiring 100xp to level. Had enough energy to do the job 4 times and plenty of cash/consumables. All it did was level me up giving me XP for 1 job, then applied the feature to my remaining energy pool after leveling up - and to top it off it looks to have short changed me on that in terms of XP so I well and truly lost out. Probably the most pointless/worthless feature MW has seen - thanks Zynga!
