Challenge Mission: London

Challenge Mission: London is the 15th Challenge Mission and by now you should know what to do. Like the last 2 Challenge Missions this one is named after an active destination so things can get confusing on the Travel Bar!  Challenge Missions contains 3 Chapters and there are a total of 9 days to complete it. If you collect all the possible consumables and stay on the Green Job Heat Meter, you shouldn’t have any problems completing it in time. We can’t tell you how many consumables are needed until the last of 3 Chapters unlocks. To activate the collect button to get you started you must first click on the ‘Start the Mission!’ button. The help mark provides the in game instructions and a tracker. Zynga finally updated the instructions to include the small fact that robbing in Mexico won't earn you any consumables.
cm7cm8The Travel Bar now has 2 Londons. There are a lot of destinations in the world to choose from so I don’t know why they need to keep picking ones that already exist! cm9If you don’t like the tracker in the game, use the Event Meter by Team Spockholm.
eventmeterAt this time only Chapter 1 is unlocked and the next Chapters unlock on day 3 and day 6. In theory, Challenge Missions are pretty simple as all you need to do are jobs. What can make them difficult is the fact that energy and consumable requirements increase as the job heat meter goes up. Showing some restraint and only doing jobs in the green or yellow job heat meters is the trick to completing this event without the need of reward points.
cm3There are 4 jobs in each chapter and the Job Heat Meter does not affect mastery or experience payouts it only affects energy and consumable requirements. Because energy requirements go up but the experience payout remains the same, the experience/energy ratio will decrease as the Job Heat Meter increases. The energy requirements are on a gradient based on your account and will not be the same as the ones shown here but the ratios will be the same. cm10greenmetergreenjobs yellowmeteryellowjobs redmeter redjobs
The consumable item required for all jobs of the Challenge Mission is the Big Bludgeon. There are several different ways in which we can collect them and they are listed in the instructions. The ‘Daily Collect’ will increase as new Chapters unlock. For Chapter 1 you can get up 110  per day and an additional 15 if 3 of your mafia members join your Challenge Mission Crew. This number will increase when Chapters 2 and 3 unlock but so do the number of consumables needed for the jobs. Use the links below for more details on how to get the maximum number of consumables. The chart below sums up where and how to get consumables. It’s possible to get 1,110 for the entire event. If this event is similar to the last one and you stay on the Green Heat Meter you will need about 900-950 so there is enough to get this done without spending reward points. You will need to collect most of these in order to master the event. Do not rob in Mexico as clearing robbing boards in that destination does not pay out any consumables.

For those who aren’t patient, you can purchase Big Bludgeons for 1 reward point each but you need to purchase at least 2 at a time. cm12
We can’t say how many consumables will be needed for the entire event because we won’t know the requirements until both Chapters 2 and 3 unlock. The requirements for the last 6 Challenge Missions are shown below. Take special note of Las Vegas, Bangkok, Brazil and Chicago as Zynga increased them on the last 2 Chapters  [1]. The last 2 had identical numbers so if the pattern sticks things will be easier to predict this time.

When you master each job, you get +1 Skill Point and the next job unlocks. The mastery item for Chapter 1 is a Masked Polecat and you will receive it once the 4th job in the Chapter is mastered. It’s a good idea to get share your accomplishment because the feeds are limited. You can earn up to 5 consumables per day by clicking on these requests but it’s not that easy to find a live one. The more that are out there the better the odds.
