The next 7 Day Deal Promotion is now available. Metal Mayhem is the 35th promotion of this type and it looks like Zynga is trying to increase sales. When 7 Day Deals were first introduced in December of 2011 there weren’t any skill points, it was just loot [1]. Loot has lost it’s favor in the game and skill points were added to sweeten up the deal in October of 2012 [1]. This type of promotion has been the same ever since but today there is another update. Instead of offering +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, +6, and +7 skill points with each deal, they now come with +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, +6 and +14. So if you take it to the last deal you will earn +7 more skill points than before. It’s still not enough but at least Zynga is trying. Each deal cost 45 reward points and if you purchase all 7 deals you will spend 315 reward points to get 28 loot items and +35 skill points. A closer look at the loot items is shown below.
