Recent Bug Fixes 2/4/2012

The Official Mafia Wars Blog is pleased to report that there have been more bug fixes (1).

There are four bugs being reported as fixed.  They messed up the copy/paste of the 3rd bug but I made an edit. Looks like we won’t have to worry about our money disappearing into a black hole, we can get our level up popup when fighting New York Bosses and our screen won’t go white when we send our mafia members gifts. The second bug and it’s fixed was already discussed in detail on this blog (1), (2).

Money Disappearing From Bank Or Vault
Issue: Some players reported that city money had disappeared from their banks/vault.
Status: Resolved around 6:30am (Pacific Time) on 2/2/2012. If you are still experiencing this issue, please reply to this forum thread with your answers to the questions found there.

Requesting Job Help Prevents Level Mastery In Brazil & Chicago
Issue: Some players reported that, if a friend helped them master a job in Brazil or Chicago and that results in them fully mastering the district, they didn’t receive a mastery popup or reward and they couldn’t proceed to complete jobs toward the next mastery level in the district.

Game Crashes to Whitescreen When Gifting From Inventory
Issue: Some players reported failing to receive their Level Up popup while fighting city bosses in New York.
Status: Resolved around 7am (Pacific Time) on 1/24/2012. If you are still experiencing this issue, please reply to this forum thread with your answers to the questions found there.

EDIT: Zynga messed this one up so here is what it should say:

Issue:  Some players reported that their game crashed when attempting to send gifts from their Inventory.

Status:  Resolved around 7am (Pacific Time) on 1/24/2012.

 

No Level Up Popup While Fighting City Bosses In New York
Issue: Some players reported failing to receive their Level Up popup while fighting city bosses in New York.
