Yesterday I posted the details of how the different Property Part requests work and how to utilize that information to formulate the best strategy to upgrade your Cage Fight Arena (1). The post also contains information on how to utilize a glitch affecting the Any Part requests. Today, Owen “Mw-Only” Parker shared a glitch involving the Individual Part requests on the Mafia Warts Loot Lady Fan Page (1). You are now able to request all three individual property parts every 8 hours and each post will work and behave like a Individual Part request. To take advantage of this glitch before Zynga fixes it, follow the instructions below.1. Ensure that you have not given permission to Zynga to auto-post to your wall. Auto-posting was turned off to fix a bug with Individual Part requests but it could come back at any time. Some claim the this will work even if you have auto-posting turned on. I found it did not for me and had to wait 8 hours to make this post. You only get one shot every 8 hours so it’s better to be safe than sorry. To do this, go to your account menu and select “Account Settings” then “Apps”.
From the App Settings Page, click the little “Edit” link next to the far right of the Mafia Wars Application.
Find “post to Facebook as you” and click remove.
2. Open three individual Mafia Wars windows/tabs.
3. Click on the “View Parts” button located on the Home Page for each window.
4. The “Ask for More” buttons should be visible in each window/tab.
5. Click on the “Ask for More” button of one different part in each window/tab and wait for your request to be generated in each window. It’s important NOT to publish until all 3 requests are present.
5. Now click the “Share” button on each request and all three Individual Part requests will appear on your wall and in the news feeds.
6. To keep your requests circulating in the News Feeds, create shortened links for each request and post throughout the day. To do this right click on each title and select copy link address.
Go to a url shortening service such as tinyurl.com and paste your link into the box.
Copy the newly created shortened urls, paste them into your Update Status box and post.
As long as you don’t make new requests, these links will never expire. They will only be put on hold when you have enough parts to upgrade to the next level. Any account can click on one or all three of your requests/links (as long as they haven't hit the help cap) and you will get the parts. Combined with the glitch posted yesterday, each of your alternate accounts is good for 14 parts every 8 hours. The more you post your links to the news feeds, the more parts you will get.
I was able to send 13 parts from one of my mini accounts, so the 11 part limit might not always be in effect.

Any parts are good for 6 (varies from sometimes 5 and sometimes 7), Individual requests don't expire and are good for as many parts as you can get players to click.

ReplyDeleteOnce somebody posts it on my fan page or elsewhere, it's going to get fixed if they choose. I post "stuff like this" because every time someone posts a ton of links or in this case 3 working individual part requests, it's followed by many questions. Instead of answering 20 inbox messages about it or answering on the fan page or my wall, I make a post to explain how it's done.

another glitch is to open multiple windows before posting upgrade. i like to post 4 or 5 upgrades each time.

ReplyDeleteIt's a glitch because it's not an intended functionality. We are suppose to be able to make 1 any part request every 8 hours. It's been like this since about the 3rd property. Tested and verified. They fixed this from working quite sometime ago and it didn't work on the Hanger.
DeleteNow that everyone knows about it, it will be taken down and no one will be able to take advantage of the glitch. It's the only bug Zynga actually will take the time to fix. Before, it was passed along in secrecy. Now you just ruined it for everyone. Thanks for that. :(

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if what i have found is a glitch or even something you have posted in the past, i do check your page on a daily basis, i use some greasmonkey and some spolkholm tools and have found that using the home feed center on greasmonkey you can collect 4 free upgrade parts instead of the 3 as they usually let you by normal feed collecting, also i have been able to collect them every 8 hours in the most recent property, which gives me 12 free parts from upgrades each 24 hours, just wanted to pass it along to you, thanks

ReplyDeleteYou can send 11 any parts.... that limit does not contain particular parts..For example if you share particulars parts like steel,lumber and sheet then you can send 14 parts in total that include 11 any parts+ 3 particular parts=14 parts ..Hope you all understand

ReplyDeleteInstead of complaining that LL posted the details of a glitch, why don't some of you folks complain to Zynga about creating requirements that can't be reasonably met *without* having to resort to such cheats?
ReplyDeleteIndividual Part requests are also expiring after 8 hours. You can also do the several tabs trick with these also, For example 9 tabs. You can make 3 of each Individual part. Since you can send 11 any parts, this is also a benefit because you can also send 10 Individual parts. If you are using a mini, you can send 21 parts to someone every 8 hours.

ReplyDeletewhen this is done, and you use "fb mafia war ad on" you will loose access to the home feed center.
To reuse home feed center, you must give permission to zinga to auto-post to your wall, or feed center will fail.
So remember to re-activate it.
I can not find " post to facebook as you " at my mafia wars account setting. there is only " Post on my behalf " so do you have any suggestion ?
