Zynga has finally added certainty to the rumors that the Loyalty Program was going to be discontinued. Many see this as another sign that the game itself will soon follow. This should come as no surprise because I told you it was going to happen back in December (1) . For some reason the closure was delayed. There is now a countdown timer for a grand finale event of this failed program.
To find out the details of this upcoming event, click the “Learn More” button. When the timer expires on March 3rd, we will be able to spend our banked Loyalty Points on “new items”. These items will be available for until March 20th and then the Loyalty Program will vanish into thin air, just like the money we spent did!
Hopefully they will be items worth the click efforts. I have almost 42,000 Loyalty Points to spend so it might be fun. I’m sure whatever they have available won’t be as good as the items that players who used an exploit got. Zynga has yet to roll any accounts back and this is more like a slap in the face to players who actually spent money on this game (1).
Yes, hopefully the items are good. I have over 178,000 to spend :^)
ReplyDeletewhen will MW end so i can Leave FB too.
ReplyDeletethis game is fooked to its maxed.
wack. totally wack. fuck u zynga. ughhhh
ReplyDeleteFUCK ZYNGA
DeleteOnly thing useful from spending LP is car parts!! But I get plenty of them from fight.
ReplyDeleteThis has always been more of a DIS-Loyalty program than anything else. People spent money to become Gold, Platinum, and Diamond members only to find out that the loot was already out-dated....
ReplyDeleteGood riddance to bad rubbish!
Anthony
Of Course Zynga is doing away with the loyalty program.....If it does not generate big bucks......do away with it! That has been Zynga's mantra since day 1. Factually they virtually did away with it at inception since they did nothing at all to keep it fresh and viable....... I wish they would do us all a favor and just do away with the whole company and give us all a break!
ReplyDeleteFack'em
ReplyDeletethe only Ppl that wil be able to by new items are the diamond/CC players for us emerald players only NOOB items are going to be availeble annyway good ridance. PS FUCK ZYNGA FOR CLOSING ITALY WHATS NEXT NEW YORK?
ReplyDeleteWhen will they ever learn. They release these things and never do anything with them.Just leave them to rot.Of course the day will come when with heavy heart we have to shut it down.It died of neglect like 99% of things released. This is sad indeed. This could have been an awesome feature if they put a bit of work into it.I have to shake my head. It's easier to shut it down than put forth an effort.Shame on you Zinga !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteActually.. I like refilling my energy once a day with Loyalty Points.. I'll miss that ability in the Fight Club portion. :(
ReplyDeleteYou do realize youre speaking of victory coins and not loyalty points huh...
DeleteYou know, it amazes me how many ways they can go wrong - it's almost like things are being run by a bunch of bean counters without a clue about what made the game successful int he first place. I'd never have spent a dime on the game if it hadn't been for the Loyalty Program which at the time included not only usable loot but partial energy refills (the latter being what really attracted me to the feature). Once that was removed, and once the loot was allowed to become so badly outdated, much of my incentive to continue purchasing RP was gone.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're absolutely on the mark about the slap in the face to paying players that has resulted from their inaction to resolve the most recent loot exploit. The fact that they've let those people get away with their theft is proof that Zynga has abandoned any concept of a "level playing field" in this game. Of course, we can hope the loot from this closure is worthwhile, at a reasonable cost, but I'm certainly not holding my breath - actually expecting a "buy with RP" option to be included, which would be adding insult to injury.
Just another reason for more paying players to tell Zynga "So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish".
ReplyDeleteThey have never updated the loot so how does that encourage anyone to want to spend money for rp to acquire my loyalty points? it doesn't.
ReplyDeleteI wish they would update the Fight Club. I've always enjoyed the challenge that existed trying to max on those items.
im so glad i never spent no money on this shit!!!!
ReplyDeleteseems as mafia ars is havin a serious fire sale :(

ReplyDeleteAnonymous They should be sued !!!
ReplyDeleteso, after all the Zynga bashing, is there a way to ioad up on LP (without spending $) ready for the new items?
