Insurrection In Italy Mission Walkthrough

The Insurrection In Italy Special Mission Event consists of only 6 parts. There isn’t a lot of waiting time and I think many will be able to complete it within 8 days. When the timer runs out at 9:30 PM (Pacific Time) on 6th March, 2012, Italy will be shut down. If you have questions about what this all means, Zynga posted a FAQ on the Official Blog. We will no longer be able to access Italy which includes our Lira, collections and most devastating our Italy properties including the Port! I'm not sure what they will do with Extreme Missions because many of the tasks require jobs or property collections/purchases in Italy.




The overused Neo-Imperium storyline that most of us are still trying to understand is back to introduce this Mission and pending closure of Italy.

A bonus is a special and helpful to most loot item will drop called the Kingfisher will randomly drop. Players who haven’t mastered Italy will also receive 5X mastery on both energy and stamina jobs. If you wonder why you should bother mastering Italy if it’s going away, the answer is skill points. You may want to check all paths to ensure you don’t have any unmastered jobs.

For each job you do, you will get the mastery that the job normally gives plus an addition 4x that. You also get additional Lira but for most it will be of no use. It may help players finish the destination.


The Kingfisher will randomly drop in jobs and fights but it appears there is a limit of 10 items per day. Some have reported getting more and Zynga didn’t bother to let us know in their FAQ how many we are suppose to be able to get.

Part 1

Death Trap

OBJECTIVES

• 0/2: BUY 2 ITEMS FROM YOUR PORT IN ITALY.

• 0/10: LOOT 10 FISHING NETS FROM JOB: "DISTRACT THE DON'S GUARDS".

• 0/100: FIGHT 100 OPPONENTS IN ITALY.

• 0/8: ASK FOR 8 SUPERSONIC WAVE BLASTERS FROM MAFIA.

The Port will be missed by the many players who get extra skill points by purchasing items daily. The first task is a sore reminder and we need to purchase 2 items. There is a 23 hour timer between purchases.

To loot 10 Fishing Nets, go to Region 3 and do the job “Distract The Don’s Guards” which is found in the energy path or social paths.

To save energy, you can do the property job right above this one. It costs less energy and the drop rate of Fishing Nets is 100%.

Fighting 100 opponents in Italy won’t take long. It doesn’t matter if you win, lose or if the other player is already iced.

To ask your mafia for Supersonic Wave Blasters,click on the “Ask” button from the Mission Page. If you already asked from the popup, you should find the task is already checked.


The loot reward is 1 Stud. The stats are great and we now know what some of that Special Event loot added to the inventory is for(1). I really enjoy it when these Missions offer rewards that help all players.

Part 2

A Rat in the Family

OBJECTIVES

• 0/40JOB: "TAKE ON A CAMORRA TRASH CREW"

• 0/60: WIN 60 FIGHTS IN ITALY.

• 0/20: ROB 20 AUTO BOUTIQUES.

• 0/8: ASK FOR 8 SUPERSONIC WAVE BLASTERS FROM MAFIA.

Go to Region 5 and do the job “take on a Camorra Trash Crew” 40 times. If you use the “Go Now” button from the Mission Page, don’t spend hours looking for this job. You need to use the fight path but Zynga takes you to the energy path. This is a stamina job which will cost 99 stamina per click if you are ruby mastered.

Winning 20 fights in Italy shouldn’t be hard to do or take very much time or stamina. You get credit as long as you win so dead targets will count and winning Power Attacks will count as 5 wins.  Robbing 20 Auto Boutiques can be done off the Italy Robbing Board or to save stamina you can rob individuals by visiting their profile and robbing them.

Eight more Supersonic Wave Blasters are needed from your mafia. If you have left overs from the first part of the Mission, they will apply. You can ask for more once every 2 hours as long as the Mission task is active.

The loot reward is 1 Hangman’s Noose.

Part 3

This. Is. War.

OBJECTIVES

• 0/3: DECLARE A WAR 3 TIMES.

• 0/6: ACQUIRE 6 VEHICLES.

• 0/50: ICE 50 OPPONENTS IN ITALY.

There is a 8 hour timer between declaring wars. If you hold off until you get to this part of the Mission, it should only take 16 hours. If you are on Level 10 or higher of Family Progression, it will only take 12.

If you click on the “Go Now” button to acquire 10 vehicles, you will be directed to the City Store. You might as well purchase the most expensive vehicle because when Italy closes you will no longer have access to your Lira. If you are going to wait on your war timer, you don’t need to do anything. Vehicles that drop in fights, jobs and robs will count.

With the way the game has been acting up lately, icing 50 opponents in Italy may take some time. Kills count as 2 ices and both will apply to this task.
The loot reward is a Latex Skin. It’s a creepy looking thing but with a defense score of 130, I’ll take as many as Zynga wants to give.

Part 4

The Outsider

OBJECTIVES

• 0/3: HELP IN A WAR 3 TIMES.

• 0/10: CLEAR 10 ROBBING BOARDS IN ITALY.

• 0/8: ASK FOR 8 SUPERSONIC WAVE BLASTERS FROM MAFIA.

Helping in wars should be easy unless your mafia is full of players who use automated scripts to assist in wars. Once you help you get credit and don’t need to wait for the war to be over.

Although the task states that you need to clear 10 Robbing Boards in Italy, you will get credit regardless of which destination you are in. Since New York has better stamina ratios and you will no longer have a use for the Lira, it would be better to do this task in New York.

Once again, you need to ask your mafia for 8 Supersonic Wave Blaster. I’m not sure what these are going to be needed for but they are accumulating in my inventory.

The loot rewards are another Stud and Hangman's Noose.

Part 5

Things Fall Apart

OBJECTIVES

• 0/40JOB: "TERRORIZE THE DOCK WORKERS"

• 0/2: BUY 2 ITEMS FROM YOUR PORT IN ITALY.

• 0/6: ACQUIRE 6 WEAPONS.

Go to Region 6 and do the job “Terrorize The Dock Workers” 40 times. This is another stamina job so you need to go to the fight path. It will cost 144 stamina per job so could take some time if you don’t have a lot of stamina.

If you get to this task before the timer from Part 1/Task 1 runs out, you will need to wait 2 days. If you speed up the task, you might as well spend the 16 reward points to get some skill points.

Go to the City Store and buy 6 weapons or you can do nothing and wait for them to drop in fights, jobs or robs.

The loot reward is 2 more Latex Skins.

Part 6

Kill ‘Em All

OBJECTIVES

• 0/15: LOOT 15 WINE BARRELS FROM ROBBING IN ITALY.

• 0/50: Ice 50 OPPONENTS IN ITALY.

• 0/8: ASK FOR 8 SUPERSONIC WAVE BLASTERS FROM MAFIA.

Go to your Italy Robbing Board and loot 15 Wine Barrels. The drop rate was about average for me. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t ridiculous.

You need to ice another 50 players. This task is identical to the one in Part 3.

Considering this is the final part of the Mission, I was a little confused by the last task. Once again we need to ask our mafia for 8 Supersonic Wave Blasters. This item has no stats so you would think it’s a consumable but what is it needed for? I now have 267 of them and no clue as to their purpose. They aren’t even giftable so we are stuck with them.

The loot reward is 1 Mafioso the which is the Grand Prize of this Mission.



While robbing in Italy, the old New Year’s Resolution Mission kept appearing. You would think they would have turned this off by now as so many players have been posting about it every since it started showing after it expired (1).
