Earlier I told you about a new cross game promotion with Mafia Wars and the new Zynga game Hidden Chronicles (1). A major problem was there was a game right on the popup and many closed it out. Many others simply didn't get the popup.
1. Click the link below and wait for Mafia Wars to load.
2. Once your game is loaded, click the second link below.
Now go to your inventory and you should have a Gemelos. The links will not produce the popup so you won't get to play the mini game. Following the instructions above will just give you the loot. It will only work one time so if you already have a Gemelos in your inventory there is no need to try it.

ReplyDeleteI originally clicked not to do the new game when it first appeared, but then when I was in mafia wars, it is listed at the top of the page where the other zynga games are listed (farmville, etc) and when i clicked on the icon, it told me i had it blocked, so I unblocked it and had no problem after that. Just a thought.

It didn't work for me, I already started to play HC. So I tried on my other account and got the Gemelos. I assume because I haven't played HC on that acct. is why I received the reward.
That makes sense, I started playing already, so it didn't work for me. :(

ReplyDeleteYesterday at work I clicked on the free Chinese New Year loot gift that was sent from Mafiawars and was in the App & Games section of Facebook. It opened to the page you see above in the screen shot. I didn't know what to do next so I clicked to play mafia wars and went on playing without knowing that I was given that Gemelos loot item.
ReplyDeleteactually, just clicking the first link would be good enough.. i had my inventory loaded before clicking the first link, no gemelos. after clicking the first link, i refreshed my inventory and the gemelos appears. the second link is just to unframe the page.. not sure why.

ReplyDeleteOK Before I complain to Zynga I need to verify some info. I have seen the two threads and I am confused. I never got the Gemelos or the Voracious Goldfish. Which one am I supposed to get if I ended up having to play the stupid game manually? I never got it from the workaround and I am on level 7 in the game now.
