Fan Blast Rewards go to Mafia Wars 2

Share:

When I checked the Mafia Wars Fan Page to see if just maybe the free daily point had returned, I was a little ticked off. They don't have time to give us a free point yet they are using the Mafia Wars 1 fan page to give Mafia Wars 2 players a free Attack Boost (1). This is what most would call a doucebag move.
It makes no sense. I believe the Mafia Wars community made it quite clear that they weren't interested in Mafia Wars 2. The fact that Zynga took our free point away and are trying to get us to play Mafia Wars 2 instead pisses me off.
I wanted to see if perhaps this was a cross promotion type thing and we would get a free Attack Boost which could be used in our game. This wasn't the case, I got boost for a game which I'm going or re-block as soon as I publish this post.

  1. I stopped playing MW2 about 10 days ago. I liked it for a very brief while but just don't have time for two games and MW2 is geared 100% towards paying customers! It was getting to where I could only win 1 out of 5 fights because they were spending money and I was not. Good Riddens!

  2. Seems like Zynga is making it clear to us that they are just going to repeat, and do the same thing til we quit. I don't think they get that a lot of us have no intention of playing any of their other games, I like the simplicity of mafia wars, I like the concept of here's a character, build it how you want, here are your options, not walk around and waste time instead of actually accomplishing the tasks you were aiming for... oh well, won't be long now.

  3. It's just a trick to make the metrics look better for MW2 to the shareholders. That POS has been falling off a cliff since their big cross promotion.

  4. Once again the loyal players of Mafia Wars get it put to them! And Zynga wonders why their stock is going down?...LOL!
