Zynga has graciously added 24 hours to the timer on the Assassin's Academy. This was announced this on the Mafia Wars Blog. The timer will now expire at 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday 1/24.
The reason for their generosity is because there was a serious news feed bug which prevented erased all Mafia Wars requests and prevented players from posting any new ones (1). This affected all players for about 12 hours or so. Many players are still affected with a similar but different bug and they have now Mafia Wars posts in their news feeds.

ReplyDeleteThey could use a similar system as in Pioneer Trail (and possibly other games) where you give and get items in the feed and ofcourse raise the daily limits to give and get.
ReplyDeleteHa-ha, While we were crying that Zynga boss man and Zynga as a whole, did not listen to is, he was following a whole different agenda. Planning an IPO was his priority, not the players. Yes he has special shares that beat all the rest which means he is the ultimate decider. But he also knows those shares are worthless if the games do not provide a profit for the investors. If not, then he is through as a public company because the investors will all leave for greener pastures and his shares will be worthless. Therefore, Mafia Wars and ALL Zynga games must become..... "LEAN ~ LEAN ~MONEY ~ MACHINES !
