Where's The Party At?

We were told today via the Home Page Ad Module that the New Year's Resolutions Event would start at 11:30pm PST. Due to the excitement of it all, many stayed up past their bed time to check it out. Nobody should be surprised that the event isn't here. Normally new events are pushed out on time but later pulled because of bugs. If this is something new, I won't be surprised if it gets pulled once or twice.

There are 6 new Party loot items and a Party Animal that we all are anxious to have in our inventory.

The players came to party but the party isn't here. Would we expect anything different from Zynga?
