Fighting Is Messed Up

It seems whenever there is fighting event, a problem will always surface.Many players are having all kinds of problems with manually fighting. I gave it a go and things were a little slower but appeared to be normal. That is until someone stole my ice. When I clicked on the attack button under the Get Revenge, the attack didn't shift to a new screen and I was still attacking the same player. Then all of a sudden a second fight screen appeared out of no where but the attack buttons didn't work. Trying to close out non functioning fight screens is problematic as well. The "X" button isn't working and I had to close out the entire game and reenter to get a new target.
The following is an image of an active Family Battle. The "Attack" buttons are grayed out and not working.
These problems are effecting the Assassin-a-Nator and it's not working. It hangs once the inventory is loaded and the first attempt to attack a target is made.
These fighting problems were addressed on this forum thread. Cerulean Master. The problems have been reported and more information will be posted when it's available.

I've reported the issue and will post again when I have more information.

In addition, I have also reported the issue when attempting to attack someone who has stolen your Ice.

    Can't heal while fighting either. Pop up disappears and you have to go to rivals to get the same target.

    they will always do something to mess everything up.. the old fighting style was decent enough

    i believe the grayed out attack button in battle is when you are dead?

    Zynga changed some of the internal stuff for making the fight calls which broke all of the scripts. Just a minor change and easy to fix, took me about 10 minutes to get OGP back up and running.

    Every time I tried to retalliate an ice stolen, it froze up. I had to hit Home, then return. By then I was iced. It is hard for a level 1000 and under to fight when these Ice Competitions are running. Most have to just stay under twenty and hide. Level 5000s are feeding on the little guys. I just try to rebuild health and fight while I can. This makes it impossible.
