Chicago District 4: Ballot Box Distillery

District 4 of Chicago is called Ballot Box Distillery. The first job unlocks the 4th property in Chicago and we see a new consumable item. For the first time a job within a destination costs over 1,000 energy.

There are 8 new jobs with 4 levels. Below are the job requirements and payouts for each level.

Ruby

As with most early districts, the experience/energy ratios are nothing to get excited about. I expected better than this as the energy requirements are higher.  The mastery percentage per click remains the same for each level.

When you master the first job on the Bronze Level, you will unlock the Distillery property and you can start upgrading. 

If you followed my advice and collected enough upgrade parts, you should be able to get to Level 10 right away.

The Distillery pays out in health. Your health will refill to 100% when you collect on a level 1 property and by 325% for a level 10. You will be able to collect once every 8 hours. 

The consumable item is called Confidential Records. 

They are produced on the second job "Meet With a Mayoral Candidate". You will want to farm them on the Bronze Level which costs 144 energy rather than be stuck making them on the Ruby Level which will cost you 864 energy per click. 

The 4th job "get Puppet Mayor Elected" and the 8th job "Frame Mayor in a Political Scandal" require one Confidential Record per click.

 

To figure out how many Confidential Records you will need to fully master District 1, take the mastery percentage for the two jobs requiring them and divide it into 100%. You will need a total 148. If you utilize your Chicago Crew Bonuses, 2X Mastery Boosts and Job Help requests strategically, you will need even less.

The Mastery Item is a Bureau Badge. The stats increase with each level of mastery and the special ability is you lose less Clams in Chicago when you lose a fight. You will lose 5%, 10%, 15% or 20%  less Clams depending on the mastery level. Too bad this bonus doesn't apply to the Clams that keep mysteriously disappearing from many players bank accounts (yes, even the ones who don't use scripts!).
