Auto-Kills

Share:

When I was working on the La Casa Grande Mission Walk Through, I thought the last part was going to be difficult for a lot of players . If you're not a fighter or don't have a lot of stamina, 50 Kills in Brazil is asking a lot. Buying this task off for 338 Reward Points wouldn't be very strategic as all you get for completing Part 9 is a loot item and some experience.
Today many players reported on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page that this task is now auto-checked.
There are 3 days left to complete the La Casa Grande Mission and now players who can't get 50 kills in Brazil won't be excluded.

Thanks to everyone who reported this good news and to Suharta and Nikos for the screen shots which verifies it.

  2. I almost used RP to finish faster and allow time also. Glad now I didn't. I figured I could probably get it done in the 3 days that would be remaining. Got there today and it's auto-checked! I suppose that's a good thing... but was looking forward to the challenge.

  5. Ugh, not that I should be complaining about this, but Zynga and their constant doctoring after the fact is really annoying.

Just like Vlad up there said, you try to plan ahead, take these obstacles into account once you know them and then, completely at random, Zynga decides "eh nevermind, we'll just change it".

I actually finished the 50 kills yesterday, in a single day. Kills don't happen often, but if you have decent stamina and can level often (with family experience not a big deal) then it's pretty manageable. So why Zynga suddenly chickened out of it, I really don't know. Especially since they must have known from the start that it's a tough challenge.

Either way, from now on I'll just do the missions as they are, no more rushing or "fear" of not finishing in time.

  6. That kind of sucks -- we're ending up with bland characters all the same, because every goal is achievable.

What would be nicer is for harder, rarer gifts, but somewhat more frequent, so that you could end up with a different variety of things than your neighbor. The ops, war and lucky stash bonus loot help in that somewhat, but the best items are mostly the mastery and mission completion, which result in everybody's top items being the same.
