La Casa Grande Mission Walk Through

Share:

The new Limited Time Mission is called La Casa Grande. If you assumed it would be focused in the Secret District, you were wrong. Most of the tasks are in Brazil . This one may be hard for players to finish as there is a surprise 9th part which will cost a lot of stamina to complete. Overall this Mission is a waste of time. The tasks are boring, repetitive and not a lot of thought was put into them. Other than the Grand Prize there aren't any decent loot rewards. If you can live without the loot and the experience bonuses, I would suggest just skipping this Mission all together. It's would be much better to spend your energy working on the Secret District because you get skill points. It's a shame Zynga didn't think of the players and placed this Mission in the Secret District.
I was disappointed that this Mission has nothing to do with the Secret District, Leticia, Colombia. The name suggests such a connection as the La Casa Grande refers to a house built by rich cartel leaders in Leticia in the 1970s when illegal drug trafficking was rampant. Since the consumable item for the Secret District is called the Casa Grande Reservation, you would think this Mission would be centered in Leticia, Colombia.

Part 1
Good Help These Days
Rob 20 times. It has to be in Brazil and you must be successful or it won't count.
Here is somewhere nobody ever goes so most of you won't have a timer going. Make 5 items from your Brazil Workshop to complete this task. A fully upgraded Workshop can make 6 items every 18 hours.
Now they want you to go to Chicago and activate 4 of your Crew Positions.
The loot reward is 4 Longhorn Limo which is a Tier 4 War loot item. The stats aren't as good as we saw in the last Mission.

Part 2
A Fun Means To A Regretful End
Win 5 wars. You can declare your own wars and win or you can get credit for winning a war if you are the last person on the winning side to attack. If you respond to a war help request and get the option to attack the head shot, you will get credit.
Ice 15 opponents in Brazil.
Get support from your mafia X6. I dread these tasks because most of the time they don't work. I used the Mission Crew Link Spocklet and had no trouble this time. Instead of just a random spockon.me link, the Mission Crew Spocklet will generate a news feed post.
Clear 5 Robbing Boards.  It doesn't matter if you win or lose, you just have to rob all properties on the Robbing Board. For less clicking, use your Rob Squad boosts. The "Go Now" button will take you to the Brazil Robbing Page but if you are low on Stamina, you can clear a board in Chicago and it will count.
There are no loot rewards for Part 2 but you get 3 Hired Guns and a totally nerfed Experience Bonus.

Part 3
Hard Time
Do the District 8 Brazil "Scout For Potential" 5 times.
Take out 25 Fresh Fish from the Brazil fightlist. Each Fresh Fish costs 10 stamina to attack and you get +2 experience. This will throw your ratios off a bit.
Buy 4 items from your Brazil Black Market. This task will take some time as you can only purchase one item every 23 hours. There are only 10 days to do the Mission and this task alone will take up to 4 days of it.
The loot rewards are 4 Prison Chain Whips. The rewards from this Mission are starting to look really crappy.

Part 4
New Room Mate
Declare a war 3 times. There is a 8 hour timer between wars so this task will take an entire day to complete without using Reward Points.
Do the District 8 Brazil Job "Arrrange for Prisoner Transfers" 5 times.
Collect from your Barracks 3 times. Remember you get stamina for collecting on your Barracks so don't do it when you have full stamina. There is an 8 hour wait time between collections.
Collect from Union Hall if you don't want need the energy from your Refinery to level.
There are no loot rewards but we get 5 Hired Guns. Why does Zynga think we need Hired Guns so bad? I hardly know anybody who doesn't have 500 mafia at this point. Maybe they forgot that new players are about as rare the Street Blade was.

Part 5
Ganged Up
Loot 10 Lead Pipes from doing jobs. Don't let Zynga trick you into spending all of your energy. The "Go Now" button takes you to District 8 in Brazil and you will see Lead Pipe icons on all the jobs.
You will also see them on the District 1 jobs which cost a lot less energy.
In fact, if you are hard up for energy, you can get them from the New York job that only costs 1 energy per click. I forgot to see if you can buy them from the City Store as well.
Take out 20 Chain Gangsters from the New York fightlist. Each Chain Gangster costs 20 stamina to attack and you get +2 experience.
Ice 20 opponents in Brazil.
You get 3 Prisoner Transporters as your loot rewards. I wish the guys who wrote the last Mission did this one two as it really sucks as far as rewards are concerned.

Part 6
They Don't Check Out
Do the Brazil District 8 job "Bribe a Taubate Prison Worker" 5 times.
Again, don't let Zynga trick on this task. It doesn't matter how you acquire 10 Henchmen even though the "Go Now" button takes you to the Marketplace. The easiest way to get 10 Henchmen is to go to a City Store that has Henchmen (Las Vegas, Italy and Brazil) and buy them with in game currency. I bought 10 in Italy with my useless Lira.
Get 8 Crew members in Brazil requires that you add 8 members to your queue. All you need to do is make sure you have 8 empty slots and click the "Recruit" button to fill them up. There are no loot rewards for this part of the Mission.

Part 7
Overpower
Take out 20 Prison Guards from the Brazil fightlist. Each Prison Guard takes 18 stamina to attack. I think they over used this type of task. This Mission is boring me to death.
Another "Get Support from your Mafia" X6. I was given a gift from God and mine was auto-checked. Maybe there was carry over from Part 1. I didn't think about it too much and was just grateful. Again there are no loot rewards.

Part 8
The Snitch Ain't One Of Them
Collect from your Headquarters 4 times. If you collected from you other Brazil properties within the past 8 hours, you will have to use Union Hall. There is a 8 hour wait between collection times so this task will take at least a day to complete.
Rob 40 times. You have to win and you need to be in Brazil for it to count.
Take out Shanco is another lame fightlist target. Sancho costs 150 stamina to attack.
It's a really boring task. They could at least give this guy a picture or something to make it more eventful than the +1 experience you get.
This task made me think of Sancho who is a funny character in a movie from the 1990's called Orgazmo.

The one and only loot item that even makes this Mission worth the time and effort (other than the experience bonuses) is the Grand Prize called a Jaguarundi.
If you thought the Mission was over, think again. There is a super part and you can get another Grand Prize item...
Part 9
Clean Up And Clean Up
Clear 11 Robbing Boards. The "Go Now" button will take you to the Brazil Robbing Page but you will get credit for any destination you choose to rob in.
Now you have to "Get Support From Your Mafia" X20. Thankfully the Mission Crew Link Spocklet worked like a charm.
This last part is going to take a while. Kills don't happen very often and 50 of them seems like it will take forever. It's too bad that an ice isn't good enough for this task. For now, I'll assume there are no more parts to this Mission and post an update with how much stamina it will take to complete this task. So far, I've used 4,921 stamina to get 3 kills. Maybe someone will find a glitch or a way to make this easier. It costs 338 Reward Points to buy off this task and based on the waiting periods of the other tasks, it looks like Zynga planned this strategically on their end in hopes that players will spend money. It will probably backfire and more will quit.
UPDATE:  76,276 stamina later and I got the 50 kills. I wanted to see how much stamina it would cost to get kills off the fightlist so I didn't utilize any strategies to make this task easier which are explained below. I think Zynga is expecting too much with this task. Many players will be towards the expiration by the time they get to this task and won't be able to complete it.
Mike Nestor showed me a trick you can use with your mini account or a friend who will go on auto-heal and let you attack him or her.  Take your mini and put it on auto-heal. Attack it using the "5 Attack" button until it's almost dead.
When your target account is close to dead, switch to the "25 Power Attack" button.
You will find you get a good number of kills. In the long run this will cost a lot less stamina. You can try loading your target account in the Assasin-a-Nator and do target specific fighting as well.
This is the last part of the Mission. You get a good experience bonus and another Grand Prize loot item but it's hardly worth what you need to spend to get it done.

  1. 50 kills? That's it, I'm done. This game is just no longer worth it. A complete waste of way too much time. And for what? What is even fun about this game anymore? Bye.

  2. WAR;
"you can get credit for winning a war if you are the last person on the winning side to attack"
That was never true in my case... don't know about you but whenever (on my all 3 accounts) I partecipated in a war and was on WINNING side I got credited! Never had to go for the "head shot".
    tq

  3. Part 2: Ice 15 opponents in Brazil, doesn't have to be in Brazil, anywhere counts. ;)

  6. 50 kills..wtf Zynga do you really intend people to get out of the first part & start playing your stupid fucked up sequel game which is like playing farmville...man that's it..we withstood all your fucked up nerfs,bugs..but this is an insult to the player community..remember you will be in this business as long as you manage to attract players...but you have mastered the art of throwing out players..i'm not playing this mission...

  7. 50 Kills? Thank you Jennifer. I am skipping this one.

  8. This is the first mission I am not going to complete. I completed the first two parts, but I am going to abandon it now. It's just not worth it anymore.

  9. I won't be doing this mission. I mistakenly assumed it would have something to do with secret district as they debuted together. Stupid Zynga, the fun is gone from this game for me

  10. too much time to waste on these tasks. and the costs involved to get items priced me out from even starting

  11. I found that if I use Assassin-a-nator and set the filters so that I only attack people with less than 25% health, I not only get more ices, but more kills as well per stamina. Stats go to shit, but at least it racks up kills and ices quicker. That's the problem (albeit a minor one) with that spocklet. It attacks too slowly, so people have time to heal, or get iced/killed by someone else.

  12. i kill an average of 1 dude per week..... So i'll need until Jan 2012 to finish th last task.
Instead of buying my way through this lousy gifting mission, i'll spare th RPs and buy a bunch of collectors items in the marketplace. I can buy a cool 10 items with 250RP probably items with skills too!

  13. i want to smack the guy in the face who thought of the 50 kills! i have 1400 stamina im not even going to try the crap

  14. It took me around 6K Stamina to get the 10 Kills needed for the last Chicago Mission so extrapolating I guess should be 30-40K for 50 Kills in Brazil.

You'll also find much better success if you have the Ruby Level Margay item from Sao Paolo: Taubate Prison and if you carefully pick your targets from the Fight List.

  15. screw this, are they out of their damn minds?

ive tried to finish every stupid mission thats come down the pike since they started to give them to us constantly, but this takes the cake...what idiot thought this was a good idea? UGH..fire them~

thanks for the walkthru...you know folks will read this and avoid doing this crap, haha...I will post this to my mafia so you know they will avoid it for sure.

  16. U all forgot the Sucker Punch on the profilpages. It reduces ur opponents health 1-3 points.

    1. search an active low level opponent
    2. attack his health short before icing (~30)
    3. sucker punch down gently his health to ~21
    4. final power-attack leads to a kill in mostcases

or simply ask low level(under 100)-friends 4 sharing their actual fightlists (or white/blacklists) - and pls stop crying and think about first - its a chellange! and u can be proud to archieve 2 "rats"(who will recognize lol - and where is the connection to Mafia or Wars?) - I hate this game ! ;-D LOL

You started your post so well! So promising!
    "I'm not buying my progress"...
... but you fuc*** up everything with "I'll spare my RP for collectors items"...
That has to be one of dumbest ways for spending RP. What is the difference between collectors loot and regular loot in Marketplace? Can you trade it? What can you do with it? With Zynga loot stats pace it will be useless in few months...
Invest your RP in SKILL!!! SKILL is permanent!
    tq

  18. boils down to 1 simple fact..this is zynga trying to pull us all into paying real money to play. See it across the board. Farmville Cafe world..etc

Definitely not true in my case, I only get the win if I declared war nd won or took out the last guy in someone elses war. I wish I would get them for being on the winning side, I've helped in winning wars in the last hour.

  20. jennifer about the lead pipe if you think that you can buy them i found out that you cannot buy them because the location says cuba

    and cuba is closed

  21. If I work it out, I have around 2-3 days for the extra mission. Is the 50 kills in Brazil only? I'll take this mission on as a challenge, this game doesn't always have to be easy. Wish people would stop crying and whining about how long it takes. If that's your attitide then leave the family, that takes family progression out leaving you a lot of time. But like I said before, I like a challenge. So I got my family to help out with the head shots for the wars. The rest is achieveable. Or just skip the challenge part, you do get the cat anyways so what's the problem? -Dioxin-

  22. 50 kills ..Not a Problem.Geez

  23. Gotta laugh a little at the players, and I use that term loosely, that seem to want to sign on, click their mouse a few times and have rewards and experience fall like rain. :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yeah, Chucky's Master, not a problem... FOR YOU, and a the elites. The rest of us say fuck this. Goodbye.

  25. I have been a daily Mafia Wars player for over a year. The Missions are getting ridiculous and wasting our time. Challenge is different from stupidity and madness. Will likely give up this game though I have invested lots of time and effort

    ReplyDelete
  26. Another energy saver on the 50 kills. If you use a mini, do most of the attacks in NY and move to Brazil for the kill shot.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Should be pretty challenging. Where I stand there are 8 days left, one mission part that will take 4 days waiting, one mission part that will take 2 days of waiting, and a third that will take an entire day. So if I plan perfectly (use a travel clock), I should SHOULD have almost an entire day to get 50 kills. And I'm a 40K combined skills account with 6500 stam. I will barely make it. Betting that 95% of the remaining player base will not finish/try to finish. Betting less than 1% of the player base spends any $ on it.

In the long run, zynga is asking you to spend >$50US AND 10 days of your time for 1 or 2 worthwhile loot items.

I can spend nothing and get a dozen or more decent loot items from Boss Fights in that same amount of time.

I'll finish Leticia today, so I won't have anything else going on.

Not well planned at all, zyngoids

    ReplyDelete
  28. The 20 ices for part 5 don't have to be in Brazil.
Anyone tried to see if the Kills count in other cities?

    ReplyDelete
  29. It's very well possible, even without beeing a top player. I just needed 19595 Stamina for 50 kills in Brazil. Only used script to attack, no friend accounts or mini-account.

Mission Chapter 5: You can ice in NYC and it counts.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Not worth the time or effort. Whole game's getting disappointing for the casual player, and MW2 (FarmVille meets CityVille) isn't worth the time it takes to read the opening screen.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The kills are killing me...still try to get 10 for the last Chicago mission..anyway will wait patiently for Zynga to see the error of their ways and increase the time for this...6 days left and still 2 items to buy from the blackmarket

  33. Kills in other cities do not count. Must be Brazil. It took me 15K to get the 50. I used Battlefield and had it only attack if health was under 40%. Did not use mini accounts.

  34. When I started this game I didn't finish every mission I played. I got as far as I could and took the experiance points(that's how you grow your character by the way) So if the cry babies would dry up their tears and start allocating their skills to incorporate the whole game. When I couldn't finish a mission I looked at why I couldn't finish that mission and allocated skills accordingly. Admit that you might have a weak area of your game and address it. Missions are part of the game, get over it!

    ReplyDelete
  35. ppl, why are you complaining so much, there is no NEED to do the mission, do it if you want or not, ahhh, I hate the negativity

    ReplyDelete
  36. I MAKE THE ICE IN NY AND COUNT FOR THE MISION PART 5

    ReplyDelete
  37. One thing to remember is (as long as you know about the mission and are careful) these tasks such as "Buy 4 items from your Brazil Black Market" only take 3 days to do. You can do the first immediately upon the mission starting, and then it takes you three days to complete the others. The same goes for the other ones like it.

Having this walk through allows me to know what action I have to NOT do during the earlier missions, so I can cut the time down dramatically.

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Finished parts 5 & 6, then mission disappeared from the list. Anyone else have it go missing? Still had 4-5 days to go.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The 50 kills thing isn't ridiculously hard - but I did a heavy Battlefield modification in the configs:
checked the block for health not above 20%, rapid fire and 100% aggressive, don't attack iced, don't revenge, don't attack healed
75 kills and 206 ices with 13,500 stamina.
I am sure your results will vary based on abilities.

  40. Love a challenge! Completed this with 3 and a half days to spare and no rp's spent either! Thanks for the walkthrough Lootlady, it helped loads! -Dioxin-

  41. Got to the final level tonight.

For part 8 I did everything but the Headquarter collections. Then I collected once and Paid 9 RP's for the other 3 headquarter collections. Once the new mission came up it showed that I had 50 kills already!

I was running Assassin-a-Nator in another window at the time. Not sure how this happened but I'm not complaining.
