Zynga Wants Mafia Wars 2 Players

A few days ago, Mafia Wars 2 went live. Mafia Wars players should know about this game, we had to look at the promo on the Home Page ad forever. I'm glad that it's finally gone.
Now they added a promo on top of the Game Header.
They also added it to the Travel Bar. Maybe if the original Mafia Wars wasn't so full of bugs and didn't take so much time to play people would be more willing to try another version.
Based on the metrics, it doesn't look like many people have tried it.  A little over half of the ones who did returned. There aren't even that many Mafia Wars players left. Zynga should pimp this game elsewhere or offer a decent cross game promotion.

    I tried it for 3 minutes, then I closed it and blocked it. More like CityVille Wars.

    i'm lollin at this. i refuse to play mafia wars 2: electic boogaloo and everytime people talk about this game it reminds me of the scene near the end in What About Bob? where the old couple is watching their dream house (that richard dreyfus bought out from under them) burn to the ground and they just sit there yelling BURN! BURN! BURN! XD

    I tried MW2 and it REALLY sucks - they wold have been better off spending the time fixing everything tht is broke in MW

    Wow, those numbers are abysmal. It'll be a cold day in hell before I play another Zynga bugfest. Looks like most people feel the same way.

    Maybe they should have done some research and found out if anyone actually wanted a Mafia Wars 2....

    I tried it, played for 3 levels and blocked it...horrible! No wonder they don't listen to their players! LMAO!

    What's broken don't try to fix...wait...it's always broken! LMAO!

    The top banner is annoying me to death...time to go to CS and fire an angry email. I predict that they will try cross promotions on all their games and in two months it will be a thing of the past. They didn't do their homework and tried to find out why Mafia Wars was popular in the first place...if they were thinking mw players would cross and they could shut it down faster...this will be a major disappointement, some people spend thousands of dollars in the game they won't play mw2...LMAO!

    Tried it. Doesn't work properly. Can't be bothered to learn to play it. Maybe later but at the moment it's crap.

    Turn CityVille into a SimCity rip off part GTA1 fpr PC minus the shootings and running over people and the cops and add aspects of the oriingla mafia wars but not much.... this is a joke... I got my pole dancer tho and got.. JUST CLICK AROUND now fund is that??

    I'm glad I got a couple mil poker chips but birthday night and lost 1 mil on 2 bad beats but I still got over a couple mil just makes me so mad one hand I lost over 20 mil a Noob VIP players joins and goes all in NLHE with KJoff HORRID, I got Ace-Ace so I LAUGH AND CALL and BOOM! FLOP 2 jacks and I worked my way all the way up to 50 mil :( FAKE CHIPS and i wonj't buy em but damnit.... they should give more chips or give 2 mil per 5 lvl allowing you to repeat good Zyna Poker bonus they could do besides a one time thing....
