The Venetian Condo

The new limited time upgrade property is the Venetian Condo and it works the same way the Sports Bar did.

The time to upgrade your Sports Bar has expired. You won't find any trace of it on the Home Page and must now go to the New York Property Page to craft any items. So much for Union Hall saving time. The first thing you will notice it that your Chop Shop was "auto" removed from the Property Page.

Don't worry, just scroll down to reactivate it. I told you last week that we can only have 5 properties active at any one time so Zynga decided to pull a Facebook and choose for you. You will see the option to select the 5 properties you want. Just uncheck the Venetian Condo (or whatever property you don't want to craft from ) and check the Chop Shop and it will reappear. You will also notice that there are still 2 "Coming Soon" blacked out properties. We were told we would be getting 3 new properties. Either they forgot to remove one of them or we will have a fourth.

I removed my Venetian Condo and replaced it with the Chop Shop. I'm a little annoyed that the order is all messed up now, but I will get used to it. If your OCD can't handle it, you can always check and uncheck until you get them back into their original order. I didn't have time to do that.

The 5 properties you choose are up to you. The benefit of these limited time upgrade properties is you can craft an item every 8 hours as opposed to every 18. If you're on time, you can get +9 attack (Sports Bar) and +9 defense (Condo) a day. The problem with removing one of your 4 traditional properties is that the limited time upgrade properties don't count towards Family Progression.

I'm not going to go into a whole lot of detail on how to upgrade your Venetian Villa. Go here if you require more information.  Once you get enough upgrade parts to reach the next level, click on upgrade. It's that easy.

This is just like the Sports Bar only the parts and the items you can craft are different.

To ask for upgrade parts, follow the procedure outlined here. Things seem to be working the same. The trick with using this method is you need to keep upgrading to keep the link alive and working. Once you are ready for an updgrade, they will stop working. If you upgrade and still need parts, they work just fine. I haven't encountered any bugs or problems but if you do, go here and try some of the suggestions. You can also collect 3 parts a day from upgrade posts.
