It looks like Zynga is going to give the Group Sale Marketplace loot items a few more spins. The first was an Epic Fail because the item never made it to the Ruby Level.

I don't think this is a terrible concept, but they are definitely doing it wrong. They are giving a discount to the early buyers and overcharging the later buyers. Instead, they should offer the item at the higher price and offer and reduce the price (for everyone) the more people who buy it or keep the price constant and increase the stats the more people who buy it. Then there's actually incentive to get others to buy the deal.
