Gold Mystery Bags are back. I'm sure you noticed as Zynga went a little crazy in the game. You can find them on two separate Home Page Modules.
The Free Gift Page is "Goldified".
You can open 20 per day for however many days they will be around. It says one day but the past two release were 72 and 48 hours. I guess it depends on how generous Zynga feels. The items haven't changed much from the last two but I did get some Cuba Pesos. I was very disappointed in the number of crap items I received this time around. Out of 20 Gold Mystery Bags, only 4 had something other than a useless loot item, boost or unneeded property building part. I guess they wanted to nerf these too (or they just hate me). Once you accept 20 your Gold Mystery Bags will convert to Blue Mystery Bags.

From what I understand, it's easier to get good stuff out of the Gold Bags if you open Red/Blue bags first to get the "Top 5" from each. (Skill Points, Reward Points, Trap Collections, Wishlist items, Energy/Stamina Boosts, etc.)
