Cuba Loot Farming Reminder

Share:

Cuba will remain open for a little under 4 days and will vanish on Monday September 12th.
Hopefully you took my advice and are farming the crap out of the "Rob Your Cab Driver" job. It's not the most exciting thing to do and at a cost of 10 energy per job it can be time consuming. The loot makes it worth all the effort.
The drop rates have not changed since I first posted about them 8 days ago (1). Many are already maxed out on this loot and we are seeing that many have joined the 200,000 club. I got there 5 days ago.
I'm now close to joining the 210,000 club.
I like to run my Inventory History to easily track my progress. There are 4 items I still need to max on but I don't think there will be enough time as I don't have a lot of energy.
According to the Spockholm Analyzer, I still need 94 Old Cannons, 133 CM Tangos, 155 Kit Vests and 195 Cuban Todys.

The images above clearly show what Cuba loot did to the value of Fight Club loot. Only 4 items will help me and they won't help enough to waste Victory Coins. A major flaw in this game is that loot very quickly becomes outdated and there is no way to sell back items that cost Reward Points, Victory Coins or Loyalty Points. Knowing this, I refused to buy many Fight Club items and I'm hanging on to my Victory Coins for the next round. This is the main reason why buying loot from the Marketplace is a waste of money. If there were a selling feature like we see in the City Stores maybe more players would buy loot. It refreshes too quickly to ever be something worth investing in.

  3. Nearly 210k, that's pretty impressive. I'm guessing it's not just the new Cuba loot, but also the Boss Fight loot that's gotten your scores so high? 60+ boss fights with rewards above 100+ will definitely get you there. My family is still pretty small with few contributing to boss fights, so that loot is pretty much unattainable for most. Oh well, like you said, it'll all be outdated before too long.

  4. The date is wrong. Monday September 12th not August 12th.

  5. I have used 3 accounts to try and farm this job and not a single drop of the cannon. Looks like they watched your blog and nerfed the drops right away.

  6. There ought to be some sort of way to moderate the increase that players get from the newest and greatest loot, based on your current level or the loot you currently have. It is just as easy for a very low-level player to get CHEL, yet the increase it brings to them is SOOO much greater than the increase it brings to a high-level player. By farming CHEL, a level 1000 player could end up with virtually the same equipment attack/defense as a level 3000 player.
