El Dorado Walk Through

Share:

The Secret District, El Dorado is now available and will be here for the next 9 days. Get there by clicking on "Go Now" from the Home Page.

El Dorado has also been added to the Travel Bar.
You can also find it by clicking on "Secret Districts" from Brazil and then click on the "El Dorado" link.
We will need a total of 208 Jungle Maps to fully master this District. You get them by doing the second job "Steal A Historic Explorer's Notes". Activating the Lockpick bonus will earn you double.
Rather than waste energy, your better off accepting Jungle Maps as gifts. You can collect up to 200 a day so this is really the way to go. Jungle Maps are now on the Free Gift Page.
Unlike the last Secret District, your Brazil Crew Strategist Bonus will work. The 2X Mastery boosts work as well so you can bow through the first few levels fairly quickly if you stocked up. I'm not sure if they work in the higher levels but they do in the Bronze level. There are a total of 9 jobs and each produce the same amount of mastery per click regardless of what level you are on. Here are the payouts, requirements and ratios for each job on each level. Rather than list the names of the jobs, I just numbered them from 1-9 for simplicity. There are some decent ratios but the jobs with the great ones require Jungle Maps so don't get too excited by then numbers. When you fully master each level you get one Gold Dust Armor and the stats increase with each level.

I've reviewed the loot items that randomly drop while doing each job here. The stats aren't bad but the Cuba loot was much superior. If you acquired a lot or maxed out on Cuba loot, nothing here will help you. I did notice that I could not get a Amazon Pit Viper to drop. The other 3 items dropped just fine.
I did 485 of the last job of a Ruby mastered district and only got 2 of these vipers. They do drop you just have to spend a butt load of energy to get them. In the example below, I spend 419,040 energy to get two so that averages out to 209,520 energy per Amazon Pit Viper. Thanks but no thanks, I'll be happy with my Cuban Tody's.

  2. I did a bunch of job #2 in bronze level. I'm pretty stocked up on jungle maps and other loot drops.

  3. Ugh. This loot is awful. I guess the skill points are the only thing of value here.
    Thanks for the info, Jen!

  4. FYI - That Viper is from the Zipa's Tomb step of the mission, it doesn't drop from jobs.

  5. I'm on the Ruby level and noticed in my inventory that the Gold Dust Armor for Bronze ans Silver are gone and i now have 1 Gold level and there's a ruby one that inactive since it's zero quantity. Are these suppose to replace at each level, is everyone else seeing that as well? I've looked at 3 blogs about this district and no mention of it anywhere so here i am asking at he MW brain trust ... lol ... Thx Pyridine

  7. How can we figure out which inventory items we need for el dorado and other brazil district jobs? I'd like to sell some of my stuff from ruby-complete levels but don't want to sell something that I still need.

  8. Bugged in my game atm, I finished gold level but it didn't reset to ruby and I didn't get the mastery reward. Contacted CS, but since it's a weekend I expect to lose days over this.
