Return To Cuba Mission Walk Through

Share:

The Return To Cuba Mission has 7 Parts and we have 6 days to finish it. There was nothing too difficult. The loot that drops and is given as rewards not to mention the experience bonuses makes this Mission worth doing. I ran into a bug with the Mission Crew requests in Part 4 but that is to be expected of Zynga. It's too much to expect everything to work. Robbing is still not available in Cuba but the items drop when you rob in New York.

Part 1
The Cat Is Away
Zynga mixed it up a bit and the objectives look a little different then we are used to. The idea with the first objective is to loot different items from doing various in game tasks. You must fight and rob to get the 4 items listed. If you started doing job in Cuba you will notice that they also drop but they don't count for this objective. They will probably show up on future tasks.
The stats of these items are really good for something that drops during fights and robs.
If you are doing this part early on, you will also find you can't rob in Cuba. I just used Reward Points so I could get this post out but Customer Support will probably assist you.  I found out after the fact that robbing in New York will drop these items.
There is a new item called the Augmenter and it will give you 2X the loot drop to make this task easier. You can ask for them once every 2 hours.
Click on the help mark to learn more about Augmenters.  They only help with Mission task loot.
You can hold up to 99 at a time. Click the "Ask" button to generate a news feed post.
Augmenters are also available through the Free Gift system.
You will get a check mark by each item as you collect the required numbers.
You will get 2 more Smokers as a loot reward for completing Part 1 of the Mission.
 Part 2
Run The Guns
Use the updated Mission Crew Link bookmarklet by Team Spockholm to make this task super easy. You will notice a new feature that will allow you to post the request to group walls. I posted mine to the {ASS} Family wall and it was done in no time.
Now loot 8 Trigger Happy's from fights and you are done. These items have great stats and make the Mission much more enjoyable. There are no loot item rewards but the Trigger Happy's sure make up for it.
Part 3
Nobody Say Nothing
You need to clear 3 robbing boards and they don't have to be in Cuba.
Objective 2 will be auto checked for many of you if you have enough Backpacks from previous Missions.
If not there will be an option to ask for them, just click on it and wait for your mafia to send them to you.
The last objective is quite simple. Zynga gives us the go ahead and states that we should acquire Cuban Mercenaries "any way you can".
With Zyng'a permission, here is how my first attempt went. I was hoping not to use any of my own energy but it didn't work.  I used an energy account and did the 7th job in the first Tier of Cuba, "Establish Contact With The FGR". This is where Cuban Mercenaries drop.
I then used the Gift-a-Nator which auto updates and sent them to myself. To get in on the "Buggy Pre Release" of the Gift-a-Nator, go here.
Unfortunately, this didn't work so you have to loot them from your own account in order for them to count towards the Mission. I should have known it wouldn't have been that easy. You can also get them from robbing but you have to do individual profile robbing as the robbing board isn't working yet. Accepting Free Gifts or collecting from your Cuban Bribery Ring will also work.
The loot reward for this part of the Mission 1 Barrier Coat.
 Part 4
With Us Or Against Us
Win 25 fights in Cuba. The fightlist seems to be populated so this shouldn't be a problem for anyone. The Assassin-a-Nator is working just fine in Cuba.  There isn't a fancy Cuban banner but I'm sure Team Spockholm will add that soon.
Get Support From Your Mafia 12 times. Use the method I described in Part 1.  I had a bug and none of the clicks were counting.
I sent individual requests and those didn't count either. I couldn't get Live Chat (nice Platinum service) so I tried something different and it worked. When I accepted Mission Crew requests from my ZMC, some of them counted. This task took quite a while to complete and I don't appreciate it.
Loot 6 Cuban Mercenaries from jobs as described in Part 3. Mine was auto checked so hopefully you will be lucky too. There are no loot rewards for this part of the Mission.
Part 5
Come One, Come All
Collect from your Bodega 3 times. You can collect on your Bodega once every 8 hours so plan accordingly.
Craft one vehicle from your Chop Shop. You can craft one vehicle every 18 hours from the Chop Shop.
Acquire 15 Cuban Mercenaries from jobs, robs or Free Gifts as described earlier or you can collected from your Bribery Ring and get the job done in one click.
The loot rewards for Part 5 are 3 CM Tangos.
Part 6
Castle
Declare a war 3 times. You can declare a war once every 8 hours. You're going to need to win two wars in the part of the Mission. I would close out your help window and post the link once you finish this part of the Mission.
Ask your mafia for 8 Backpacks.
Rob 8 Bribery Rings. The robbing board is jacked up in Cuba but you can individually rob. This will just take some time.
The loot rewards are 3  Goliath Groupers.
Part 7
Steal The Words
You need to win two wars. Hopefully you waited to post your link from Part 6 and that should cover you for one of them. If you are the last person to attack a player of the other side and the war is won with your attack, it will count.
Now just ice 20 opponents in Cuba. Easier said then done as everybody seems to be in Cuba.
The rewards include the Mission Grand Prize which is the Sleet.  You also get a larger than normal Experience Bonus so make sure you're strategic when accepting it.

  3. It Took You What, An Hour To Complete This Mission? So Why Do You Falsely Portray That You Actually Did The Mission? It Took You Quite A While To Collect From Whom? We Know You Bought Your Way Through This Mission. So Please Don't Insult Our Intelligence By Trying To Make Us Believe That You Had Difficulty With This.

I Do Appreciate The Walk-Through, However.

  5. For part six, I was lucky enough to get the robbing board to show in Cuba for about a minute. Then I was successful with a Bribery Ring but it didn't reduce the task-meter. I tried targeted robberies but the same thing was happening - It still said I needed eight. A worthless Secret Stash popped up and after my "Sorry" and requesting help, it took me back to the homepage (as is the norm). When I went back to Robbing, the board was gone, but the task had changed to "Rob 8 Mega Casinos". Easy-Peasy, but seriously... they didn't see this coming?

The braintrust at Zynga can end the secret district for everyne at exactly the same time, on time, but they can't mask the robbing boards? Their solution is to change the task mid event? This is really getting old, for a three year player who STILL has no power packs or stamina boosts! :(

  6. @anonymous (hmmm, asshole), I did do the Mission or I wouldn't have been able to explain them. I wasn't about to spend RPs on the Mission part and it took me a while to do it. I have a large mafia and had plenty of requests to get that part done. I did spend RPs on Part 1 before I knew we could get the items in New York and of course on 2 declare wars and the property part. I've done many of these and I'm fast as not only do I do the Mission but I take screen shots and create a blog post along the way. Where do you think I get the images so don't insult me by being a total douche. It's people like you who make me think I need to stop doing any of this. I would have a lot more free time as helping assholes who don't appreciate it really sucks. I wish I could ban all the people like you but you don't even have the balls to sign your name. You give idiots around the world a bad name and you should find somewhere else to get your information but you'll have to wait a little longer for all the copy cat blogs to use my information.

  7. I hope this Cuba event, as brief as it will be, is a success for Zynga. Perhaps if they see that people are willing to use RP to do things like complete jobs, etc., when they're not nearing the level of extortion (such as Brazil) we'll see some more reasonable tasks like these in the future.

Mission's okay, but I'm lovin' doing the jobs!

  8. You tell 'em Jen :) complete asshole and cant even sign his name. She does a great job at this and spends alot of her time doing this for all players, and u say u appreciate the walkthrough? bullshit. Dont listen to ppl like him Jen, you know we love ya and tons of ppl love your work.

  10. What an ungrateful asshole, a coward as well who wouldn't put a name to their nasty comments. Many thanks for the walkthrough as I'm just starting the mission now, its early morning here in the UK and it wasn't there when I played yesterday ;o)

  11. Broken (read Jealous) Hearts are for Assholes sang the great Frank Zappa ! You doing well Jenna. One question : All the new Loot Drops are only from Jobs in Cuba right ? None will fall from Fighting ? Cheers ! Wakazawaka

  12. Different anonymous here, thanks Jen for the guide I really appreciate being able to plan ahead and see how other people are going about doing the missions. Don't let the idiots discourage you, I think you're awesome :D

  13. Great job once again, Jen! This information is SO helpful in advance, and MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!

  14. While I don't totally agree with censoring, why don't you just ignore and not post idiots that post that kind of crap, Jen? It's your blog, do what you like to with it. If it were mine, I would have gotten to "falsely portray," immediately stopped reading and deleted the comment. Not worth the aggravation, especially from anonymous assholes (er...I realize the hypocrisy of posting anonymously, but...)

I for one will keep reading as long as you keep writing. Too good a source of information, your blog. Especially these walkthroughs. Helps me know when I need to be careful and time my builds/wars/etc accordingly.

  15. i cant imagine the world without those idiots.. lol

way to go jenn, good job! -voj :)

  16. I often come here for advice and help in the game, and have never left a comment before. THANK YOU for all you do for MW players - there will inevitably be snide comments not-so-smarty pants who bolster their inferiority complexes by dissing others. There's nothing positive about posting like that, whereas what you do is very positive and many people will bless you for the help you give. You can be in my mafia family any day xxx (Clare in UK)

  18. Was just wondering what us the asshole was referring to? Does he/she have their cousin in a pocket? You know he/she has to be a rat.

Thanks for all your hard work! It is very much appreciated so don't, please don't let that one bad apple spoil it for the rest of us who appreciate all that you do. Keep up the good work and you can count on me returning to see what you have to say. I enjoy your informative writings very much!

  19. I had problem with backpacks. I posted 3 posts to wall so friends send but it was stuck 7/9 and people couldn't stop. They get message like maximum items sent to that person (something like that) so I used 7rp for this crappy step since I saw I will need much time to get new wars :/

btw I saw I need 3 wars to announce and 2 to win thanking to you and that's 4 days for me. It's great somebody wants to spend rp for this and post images. Thanks

  25. Yes, posting anonymously. I am happy to see that you even give time to the ungrateful. We should feel compassion for those who have lost their way. Obviously, the player cannot relate to activity and effort needed to provide the screenshots. You are my CONSTANT co-pilot during these challenges. Ignore him/her and feel the love.

  35. I swear every time I read someone bitching at Jen on her blog my head wants to explode!! First off its her blog, if you don't like it QUIT READING IT!! Secondly, its a HUGE help for all that read her blog that she gets through these missions quickly so we know whats ahead for us. The fact that she spends RPs is a help, not a bad thing!
Jen, ignore assholes like that, the rest of us REALLY appreciate all you do!!!

  36. JENNNNNNNN, don't ever quit writing this blog because of the assholes in the world. I come here to find out all my mafia wars news and some helps within the game like this walk-through. He is as you said very nicely, an ASSHOLE and a DOUCHE!!

  38. I know you know already how highly I think of you and all that you do, Jen.
Still, I feel it needs repeated.

Here I am, just 17 hours left from the end of this Cuba Mission, wondering what I have left to do. If it wasn't for your blog, I would be lost. Countless times do I have to refer here to find all of the information I could possibly ask for. And for that, I say Thank You.

  39. ZYNGA TOS policy clearly states the use of automated tools like SPOCKHOLM are not to be used. It's called cheating! I've heard excuses from some players that they don't have the time or too may players, if that's the case, then you shouldn't be playing in the first place. I think it's a joke how YOU, and ZYNGA allow this silliness..
You would do a favor to vast majority of players if you did STOP writing these blogs, and STOP promoting BOTS and cheats. I blame YOU and ZYNGA for this mess.
YOU, for promoting it, and ZYNGA for allowing it.

  41. @the anonymous above (X2), obviously you don't read as it clearly states these comments are moderated so I'm glad you have so much time to write the stupid comment above twice. If Zynga bows to your request and they stop allowing scripts, say good-bye to your player base and good bye to Mafia Wars. Some know way more than you and the % of players using scripts is much higher than those who don't. Ban accounts and they will lose money because those who use scripts spend more on the game. The only reason this blog is popular is because I help players who aren't that good with computers use them. There is no need to promote scripts as people who don't want to mindlessly click like you do will find them. I just provide easy to follow instructions. I will gladly blame me, Spockholm and Zynga if people like you quit. Please do as this game will be better off without idiots who like to critique without knowing what in the hell they are talking about.

  42. talk about biting the hand that feeds you, Jen keep up the good work

    ReplyDelete
  43. @pbrennan, I don't really care. Nobody is feeding me. I'm not doing this for the money as I don't get paid. The ad revenue is ok but that goes to buy Reward Points. I enjoyed this much more when I had a smaller and more supportive reader base. I'm considering making it a private blog but the hassles of doing that is holding me back. I also think about just stopping as it takes too much of my time and the idiots who need to call me a cheater and all that certainly will make that decision easier to make.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm sure the ad revenue is a lot more than you'd care to admit MS PATTERSON!! Find a real honest job, or join the real mob! Pathetic!

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Anonymous above, if I needed the money this isn't what I would be doing to get it. Maybe the ad revenue would be a lot to you but for me it covers the cost of reward points which I use to test things and get images so morons like you can call me pathetic. You are the pathetic one, find the balls to sign your name. We know you are all just jealous that you fail to understand what scripts are and don't have the brains to learn how to use them. Hating is used as a tool to make yourself feel better for lacking in certain things. We all know that.

  46. Just wondering if they will ever bring this mission back again? It's the only achievement that I don't have and was fighting fires when it came out. Now with the new layout and the Achievements Left to Complete at the bottom,it really reminds about the lost mission!
