Collector's Edition Item: Painted Wolf

I'm getting a little tired of promoting Marketplace stuff. I may decide to just stop posting about it. Zynga does a good enough job promoting it.  With all the other crap going on in the game, it's slowing me down. The complete-ist in me can't help it. The latest Collector's Edition item, the Painted Wolf, is available now. It's a raggedy looking thing and you get +4 Defense Points if you buy one.

This is such a lame gimmick and Zynga is acting like it's something new. They made a post explaining it here, but this is the third time we have seen this with the Collector's Edition item.  The Tiglon offered +4 Attack Points (1) and the Dragon's Mite offered +6 Energy Points (1). They jack up the cost because of the skill points and the collector's who go crazy over these items are forced to spend more Reward Points than they normally would for skill points. The item costs 46 Reward Points and that is 11 more than those without the skills.

For 12 Reward Points, you could speed up your Crafting Timer in the Weapons Depot and get +6 Defense Points which is a better deal.  If Zynga should have made this loot 46 Reward Points from the start so players would know what they were getting into before they started collecting.
