The Farmer Insurance Loot Event is here and has it's very own Home Page Current Events Module.
Until you click on "Play Now" or "Share Items", it will look like the image above. Once activated, it will look like the image below. You will see there are a little over 7 days to finish.
The yellow help mark should answer most of your questions about the event. This thing is an obvious copy/paste of the X-Men Loot Event. That was a lame event and so is this one.
Click on the "Farmers" icon located to the far right of the Missions Bar to track your progress and learn more about each item. This can be toggled on and off so if it annoys you, keep it in the off position.
Here is a more detailed look at the items. These can be found by clicking on any item from the Mission Bar. Nothing to get excited about.
Thieves can be shared via the news feeds. Click on the "Share button from the Home Page to generate a post. Your mafia members will get 5 Thieves for clicking on "Get Thieves". You won't get any in return. There is no limit on how many you can accept but once you have more than 10 items in your inventory they will be removed after
There is no limit on how many you can accept but once you have more than 10 items in your inventory they will be removed after 30 minutes.
To send your extra items to you mafia members, click on the image icon from your Missions Bar or Home Page. You can generate a news feed post to give your extra items away or you can gift them to specific individuals. This an be done once every 30 min providing you have extras.
If you run the Event Scanner by Team Spockholm, you could do the entire event through news feed posts.
Use the index tab and click on posts that say "Get Thieves" or "Get Farmers Item". Remember that Farmers Item posts are only available for 30 minutes so don't let your scan sit too long.
Like the X-Men, there are also two new boosts called Protection Money and Lightning Defense on the Free Gift Page. In theory, these will help you acquire more of this loot.
Each Protection Money boost will net you +2 Farmers Insurance fight loot items and the Lightning Defense boost will net you +2 job items.
Collect the loot items by doing jobs, fighting or gifting. The first 4 items on the Mission Bar come from doing jobs and the last 3 from fights.
All items can be added to your wishlist so if you want to complete the event without using any energy or stamina, it is possible.
There are 4 levels of mastery. Get 1, 2, 3 or 4 of each item to earn the mastery item called the Airship. Since you can collect all 7 loot items from playing the game (jobs/fights), scanning the news feeds or requesting that your mafia gift them to you via your wishlist, there is no reason that anyone should have trouble with this event.

Go here to enter a contest for your chance to win a two night stay at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. I live in Las Vegas and trust me, it would be no prize to stay at the Flamingo.

But-but- but--Where are the "Donny and Marie" tickets? I can stay at the dumpy hotel but not get free tickets to the oldies show?
ReplyDeletewon't let me collect on second level .... collected the airship, had another full collection, but NO clloect button .... is there like only 1 collect per day or something???
ReplyDeleteWhen you collect it doesn't remove the items. So, to collect silver, you must show 2 of every item. To collect gold you must have 3 of every item, etc.
ReplyDeleteHmmm.. I actually like the Flamingo. They have a great buffet there. The garden outside the buffet has some really beautiful tropical birds (such as flamingo's). Granted, I haven't been there in a couple of years, and I'd be the first to admit it's nothing at all like the Mirage or Bellagio, but it's certainly better than other older hotels like The Riviera. In fact, I'd almost say I'd prefer the Flamingo over all the hotels next to it (Imperial Palace, Barbary Coast, Harrah's, and certainly O'Shea's).
ReplyDeleteI don't gamble at all (it comes from growing up in Vegas) so I can't speak for the casino, but I've seen a couple shows at The Flamingo (the Rockettes and Married Caveman show (I forget what it was called) which were both excellent.
When the wife and I have gone down to Laughlin, we've stayed at the Flamingo there a couple times. Now that buffet is out of this world good, overlooking the river, with orange juice that is fresh squeezed when you press the button on the machine. Amazing!
So, thank you, Jennifer for the link, because even living in Vegas, I'd be more than happy to spend a couple nights at The Flamingo (or get any of the other prizes listed)
at one point of time i had over 50 of each but no Structural Damage. is there a trick to it?
ReplyDeleteI have the airship with the red star not the other ones. I've have 10 of each of the "things" for days. It's the story of my MW life, I reckon...
