The Official Mafia Wars Blog has posted the next installment of This & Next Week. If you care to review what happened last week, use the link above. I'm only interested in what's outlined below. For those who don't understand Zynga speak, I've translated for you.
This Week's Major Bug Fixes
We vigorously investigated multiple page load issues this week and continue to implement fixes as we uncover the reasons behind them.
Translation: Yeah we know your game is slow, it's always been this way. We wonder how and why you put up with it. We really have no clue why these problems persist but figured if we addressed it you would feel better and stop bitching.
Coming Next Week*

A new addition is coming to Missions. Use Mission boosts to help you finish your tasks more quickly and efficiently.
Translation: Missions just aren't busy enough so we are throwing in a new element. Honestly, the only way to finish things more quickly and efficiently in this game is to buy Reward Points. Look how well this business model strategy has worked with The Raven. We've made more money off Sniper Shots than some small countries make in a year.
New Mission Event: Wild Things
You'll need to steal from Private Zoos to build up your illegal exotic animals business. Take care of your pet felines and you'll be rewarded with the Golden Tiger (63 attack, 153 defense).
Translation: We don't like it when some of our features are ignored and we aren't seeing enough building and gifting in the Private Zoo. Get over the Stamina Packs and start sending Zoo Parts and Exotic Animal Feed. We like spam!
Level Up Your Family
Socialism is making a comeback. Do jobs, fight, and more to earn Family experience points and level up as a Family. You will all be rewarded for working together.
Translation: The last Family Event was so successful that we decided to do it again but with a twist. Instead of ices, experience will be King. Strong fighters who haven't built up their energy or stamina pools are screwed. If we throw in a Leaderboard you will have plenty of targets to hate on and attack.
Union Hall
Collect, upgrade, and build from all your Properties in one central location.
Translation: One of our developers decided to collect and build from all of his properties in one session and it took him two hours. Damn those page loads are slow! We checked out this script called Property Manager by Team Spockholm and we like it!

ReplyDeleteAs far as the Raven goes, their 'tripling' of the Sniper Shot drop rate equated to 3 x 0 = 0, which is the number I got after fighting over 10K stamina. I asked Customer Service about that and they gave me 30 reward points to 'buy' Sniper Shots. Well....it only took 10 to finish so I am still 20 RPs to the good, lol. Screw Znyga.
