A few posts down, Leonard told you about the new City Store items available in Brazil
(1). Obviously these are in preparation for the new Districts that are "Coming Soon".
Eike noticed that one of the items, the Canoe Paddle, had a defense score of 78. That's pretty high for a City Store item. The cost of BRL$38,000 (less if you have the Abelha Helicopter bonus) is pretty cheap.
If you are maxed out on Idle Hands, the Canoe Paddle won't help your stats.
I bought as many as I could on my energy account which rarely gets used and is very weak.
I ran the Stats History bookmarklet before and after and you can see this item really helped improve my stats.
We saw something similar like this happen in with the Pick Pocket from Atlantic City and that was quickly turned off
(1). I'm not sure if this is the same thing or if Zynga decided to throw a loot item with high stats in the Brazil City Store.

ReplyDeleteI bought some and when I look at the inventory summary, the weapons bar shows an empty space, like I don't have enough weapons for my Mafia. Got the skillpoints, though.

ReplyDeleteAnd when you filter the summary, it doesn't show up on any of them. Weapons active or inactive, Brazil stuff etc. I can't find them anywhere. So yeah, I go with the glitch/bug theory.
ReplyDeleteThey are in the process of implementing the new stuff and we are tapping into that prematurely, something like that. I wonder what happens when/if they correct this...

ReplyDeleteAdd me to the list who bought them & they don't show up. I had 54 Weapons I was using that were below 78D so I bought 54 Canoe Paddles. Now my inventory in Item Analyzer has shifted showing I am only using 447 weapons...

ReplyDeleteAbsurd. Sold everything on my brazil inventory to buy loads of this canoe. My skille went rocket high but when i woke up the next day, before i can enjoy the skills, it went down dramatically.. total pisstake! I contacted Zynga regarding this matter saying i spent all my RP to buy brazil money but they went quiet n heard nuthing :( ..Oh well !!! waste of space !
