Staten Island: Extended

Share:

Many players are having trouble finishing up the Challenge Mission. Not enough Ferry Passes or energy is slowing them down. In the past, we have gotten a lot more time to finish these than we got for Staten Island. There is great news for those who are worried they won't finish before the timer runs out. The event is being extended.
Cerulean Master delivers the good news on the Zynga forums and says players will have through Sunday. The timer will be adjusted later today.

Hi Everyone,

We will be extending this event through Sunday. The timers will be changed later today to reflect the new end time.

  2. How sick, how disgusting by Zynga! Fcuk I can't believe it!
Now, few hours before the end (and not even official!) and after many loyal players wasted all their energy and spent even RP (not to mention $$$)to finish it they extend it!
Go Zynga make good use of those few more loyal players left!

  4. I agree with the post above...they always seem to extend things after I spend rp or go out of my way to finish an event. What is wrong with it ending and the slackers of the game not completing this? I made it work with my limited energy and don't see any reason that other players couldn't do the same.

  5. yup I'd have to agree with the above post, some of us wasted/spent a lot of extra energy to get it done on time, and now at last minute they decide to extend it??? We should flood their email with complaints and see if we get any compensation. Just like they did to us with the "canoe paddles" in city store(brazil) we buy it because it says its 78 attack and then they change it to 30 attack...would we buy it for 30 attack? Ummm NO!!!!

  6. Glad they extend it... was considering to stop playing also because making that Staten Island without cheat fight programs is impossible, even used RP myself but what I saved up, no $$ If I read this all above it is as if you guys don't want others to make it??

  7. There was also a problem accepting ferry passes. I had an issue where it would open up to a blank screen instead of the confirmation screen you would normally see. I wasn't able to send back ferry passes.

  8. Yup. spent RPs also to finish the damn event ON TIME only to find out I didn't have to. Stick to your own rules Zynga!

  9. Aw, Fuk Em....
Zynga, you've been doing this long enough to know how to do it right...

Too Many players have busted their guts to get there & you simply move the goalposts?????NOT RIGHT!!!!!

  10. couple days of brawler and you would have had all the passes you needed.

  11. i agree with above..what a waste of my energy thanks zynga grrr

  12. They simply should have given us a reasonable amount of time to finish the whole thing.... That's the problem with most of these events/challenges.... They make them so difficult to finish unless you are using the cheat methods.... Make up your mind, Zynga.... Either we cheat or we don't.... Stop punishing those who don't by these ridiculous deadlines....

  13. Zynga...why not go Retro for a while, and let players get a chance to do old special mission jobs that we missed before. Eg: That Bollywood one. Makasih G-BEAST

  14. Thanks, Zynga! Before I panicked like those above and bought RP!

  15. Sorry for the people who wasted RP's and energy to burn up the heat meter.I have completed every challenge mission that Zynga has put out but this one had very unreasonable time constraints. One should be able to complete it without going over the meter and in this case if you do the math, you will see that would not have been possible in this event. Why do people who complain here not remember that there are many new players who do not have the energy pool of higher level players? Suck it up, I think Zynga did the correct thing by extending it and BTW, this is not the first event that has been given an extension. In other words"quit your bitching" and get on with your game!

  16. you people had a choice to use your R.P.'s why blame zynga?

  17. I see both sides of the coin here and they both have valid points. There does have to be a challenge to things but it should be both rational and reasonable for all players on all levels. The solution would be to plan a bit better before starting up a new mission such as this.

Factor in both the new and veteran players and set a realistic and reasonable time frame for mission completion. Perhaps to have given it one or two extra days when it began. Could well have kept seasoned players from wasting RP and energy and still allowed for newer ones to have a bit more of a chance to finish.

In this game sometimes we all will not be able to complete all missions no matter how high or low a level. It's just a part of the game dynamics. Jeff

  18. get a life i was only gonna have chapter one done prolly would of finished chapter 2 i wasn't gonna be able to finish part 3 in time i doubt it but I do not live on here who cares if you finish it or not?

i'm glad they extended it so I can finish it because I actually have a life and a job unlike some of you it sounds like if this game is all you worry about... i'm not even sure why I still play it such a high lvl but kinda addicted but I play other games, just completed Portal 2 last week it is a great game!

People that buy RP are sad people.

  19. in response to anonymous of June 9th at 1:13 pm... really???... slackers? Hell, i'm on here every morning and every night and was doing the jobs every 8 hours on the weekend and i still was nowhere close to getting it done.. why? cause I have kids and a job and can't do it every 8 hours during the week... so yeah, it should have been extended so that all of us 'slackers' with actual lives and jobs and responsibilities can have the chance to complete it too!
