Show Worst Items by Team Spockholm

Yesterday Eike mentioned a new bookmarklet by Team Spockholm called Show Worst Items. He demonstrated how it helped him determine if the new loot item in the Brazil City Store was worth purhasing (1). The purpose of this bookmarklet is to show you the lowest value of your Top 8 active loot items so you can easily identify which loot items will help your scores. With so much loot in the game, it's hard to keep track. This really helps and it's easy to use. I wish I could have helped them name this. Show Worst Items sounds kind of plain. I would have suggested the Crap-o-Nator or The Crap Blocker. To start using this bookmarklet today, follow the instructions below.

1. Go to the Spockholm Mafia Tools Experimental Page and locate the Show Worst Items bookmarklet.

2. Click, drag and drop Show Worst Items into your bookmark tool bar.

3. Go to your Mafia Wars game and unframe. You will need to use the Unframe-MW bookmarklet which can be found here to do this. As of right now there is no unframing component to Show Worst Items.

4. From any unframed Mafia Wars page, click on Show Worst Items now located in your bookmark tool bar. A popup will appear in the upper right corner of your game that lists the lowest attack and defense stats of your active items. Use this information to determine if a loot item will help increase your scores.

5. To remove the popup, look for the tiny "i" located above the upper right corner of the stat box. When you close it out, the "i" will remain on your game so you an easily get back to it. Click on the Show Worst Items bookmarklet to completely close it.
