The post below this one inspired the Mafia Secrets Blog to share a work around for players who are locked out of jobs in Atlantic City. To learn how you can get back in the game, follow the instruction in the post titled Atlantic City Chapter 0. This is an awesome example of how the community takes charge of issues when Zynga can't or won't fix them.
I pointed out that the Customer Support page addressing this issues was last updated on 03/07/2011(1) . Can this really be that hard to fix? They could at least update the page to todays date and send their players to the Mafia Wars Secret Blog. Here is what it would look like if they did.
Atlantic City: Stuck at Episode 1
Updated 05/08/2011 at 23:26
An outstanding issue exists in Mafia Wars which is preventing players from gaining additional progress in Atlantic City. After completing Episode 1 of Atlantic City in Mafia Wars players may experience a technical issue which prevents Episode 2 from being accessible. The Mafia Wars development team has become aware of this problem and is working on a correction to this issue. Unfortunately Zynga Support does not have a work around to this problem. Fortunately, the Mafia Secrets Blog does. We understand that script use is a violation of our TOS but in this case you should go for it as it will lessen the load on our Customer Support Team. We haven't bothered to fix this issue because we assumed players wouldn't want to waste their energy on this destination. Have you even looked at the ratios and loot drop rates!? That Parkour Master is going to suck in a few weeks anyways as we have many loot refreshes in store for you. Thank you for your continued patience while this issue is ignored. *The above Customer Support document is a spoof. |
