All manual fighters are well aware that there are major issues with fighting. The screen bounces around and many end up clicking on the "Ask Mafia to Attack" button by mistake. This slows down fighting and can be very irritating to fighters when they are trying to ice somebody. There is a discussion thread devoted to this topic on the Mafia Wars Fan Page which was started over a year ago. Zynga is well aware of this issue and it has been presented via the PAC on many occasions. Pistol Pete of Team Spockholm has even submitted a fix to Zynga so it's unclear why this issue hasn't been taken care of. For some reason, I never get the "Ask Mafia to Attack" button on my main account. I'm definitely not complaining. Here it is on my energy account and you can see it's very close to the "Power Attack" button. If the screen didn't bounce so much, the close proximity really wouldn't be an issue. Zynga either needs to follow Pistol Pete's instructions to fix the screen bouncing on the fight page or move the "Ask Mafia to Attack" button.
There are a few things you can do right now to improve the fighting experience. I showed you one earlier in which you can shrink your screen to avoid the hassles of excessive scrolling (1). You can also download the latest version of Google Chrome beta. PM-{ЯYfG}PЯINCΞ svr4, who is a big time fighter says that the screen bouncing is still there but it hasn't been as bad since he installed the new browser. To try it out, follow the instructions below. Please comment as to whether you notice a difference or not.
1. Go to the Chrome beta page and click on "Get Google Chrome (BETA)".
2. Read the terms and click on "Accept and Install".
3. Wait for Google Chrome beta to be downloaded and installed to your computer.
4. If you find your bookmark toolbar has disappeared after installation, go to the little wrench in the upper right corner of your computer to get it back. From the wrench, click on "Tool" and then "Always show bookmarks bar". You can also press the Control +Shift + B keys at the same time to get it back.
