When I posted some tips on winning the new new Boss Fights(1), some asked me why I didn't use the Boss Fight consumables. The reason is because I didn't have any. Every energy point I have is going towards mastering Brazil and I don't want to waste any farming consumables. You can beat the Bosses without using consumables, it just takes longer. A while ago, they were offered as free gifts but that's not the case today. If you create free gift links, they will be Mystery Bags when your mafia members open them. For those who want to use consumables, here are the different ways we can get them. Farming them using energy is the easiest way. Unfortunately, they don't drop in Brazil. You won't find them in Bangkok either. Only jobs in New York, Las Vegas and Italy will drop Boss Fight consumables.

The next way to get them is to look for Secret Stash posts. Click on "Grab your share" and hope you are one of the first 5.
The last way to get Boss Fight consumables appears to be new. When you defeat one of the Brazil Bosses or the Bosses from the limited time Mission, you can click "Share" to generate a post for the news feeds. When you mafia members click on "Share spoils", they will get a Boss Fight consumable item.
Paul Rugg, one of my mafia members posted his Boss Fight victory for the limited time Mission and I got a Grenade. This post says "Get Bonus". I tired running Stream Helper to easily pick these up but didn't have any luck. Either Stream Helper isn't updated yet or I didn't click the right box. Hopefully a Spocktonian can comment with the answer.
Mike Nestor even found a Stun Gun by looking for these posts.

ReplyDeleteGetting boss fight consummables from someone in your mafia who posted a boss fight they have defeated is not new, has been around for months, you can get them from the Vegas or Italy boss fight posts too, if you are maxed for all 4 consummables, you will get boosts instead. There are so many of these boss fight posts i always max them quickly whenever i am online
ReplyDeleteThese Boss fights in Italy and Vegas have either been simplified or it is possible that a way exists to defeat them reasonably easily.
ReplyDeleteThe following way worked for me and I have had feed back that it works for others aswell.
1. Heal and attack chosen Boss in Italy or Vegas.
2. Do NOT use any boosts (stuns etc.) and do NOT ask for back up assistance.
3. You will most likely get crushed.
4. Repeat the attack process until you win, which may be after being crushed several times.
Generally I have used 100-150 stamina to knock out each Boss and it has taken only several minutes.
The reason that I say not to use boosts or ask for assistance, is that I have experimented with their use and found that they infact trigger the bosses to reheal. Whereas without them the bosses do not reheal and if they do it isn´t by as much and not as often. Of all the boss fights in both Italy and Vegas, only one partially rehealed twice.
