There seems to be a rumor going around that the Pegasus Engine is dropping in Treasure Chests.  Misty of Mistyfied Mafia Wars Pimping & Trading brought it to my attentions.  She was not able to verify it all the comments don't support it to be true (1).

Here are the items that you can get from Steampunk Crates which are available in the Marketplace. Notice the Pegasus Engine is on of the rare items.

Susan Wells of ๑۞๑ [ஜTHXஜ]๑۞๑ Mafia Wars TIPS TRICKS & INFO had a bunch of  Gold Treasure Chest Keys laying around and opened 50 of them and never got a Pegasus Engine.  I opened 5 and got a bunch of crap.  Here are all the items available in Gold Treasure Chests at this time form the Mafia Wars Wiki Gold Treasure Chest Key Page.  Gold Treasure Chest items are on the 6th Generation and I say it's time for an update. There is nothing here that has higher stats than the loot we can obtain from doing jobs and fighting.  Until they come out with generation 7, I would hang on to my keys.

If you're one to gamble and hope that you will be the lucky on to get 1,000 Reward Points, then act now!

Ever since the Inventory Page was changed, on of the most common questions I'm asked is where do you find your Treasure Chest Keys?
