Ancient Relic Event???

Looks like we may have another one of those annoying gifting events in the future or Zynga finally figured out we don't like them and decided not to release the next one.  The guy who writes The Mafia Secrets Blog did his research and found some cool things for us.  Go to the referenced link above and check out the instructions to make free gift links for the items shown below. I was able to make 2 of them (code 446 gave me a Broken Heart) and accept one of them from a different account.

The gifts convert to Mystery Bags but there is a juicy bit of information on the accepted request.  You can see here it says that "The Ancient Relic event is over!".  We know it never began so is this something to come?

This was enough evidence for Da Irish Kid of the Mafia Wars Wiki to create a Ancient Relics Event Mafia Wars Wiki Page.  

I wonder of the loot items found yesterday will be the rewards.  It doesn't really make sense that these would go with Ancient Relics but we have seen things that don't make sense many times in the past.
