Italy Consumables Regions 6-8

Share:

Today Ade told you all about the Customer Support Wednesday Factoids (1).  I always get a chuckle when they use the word "Factoid" because the definition of this word is a questionable or spurious-unverified, incorrect, or fabricated-statement presented as fact, but with no veracity (1).  Anyways, I'm going to focus on the consumable Factoid.
The good news is that there aren't going to be any new consumable items to make.  This means we can start farming the three consumables needed to complete Regions 6-8 now.  Use the chart below to find the jobs you need to do to make them.  Nobody knows how many of each consumable you will need so I don't have good advice on how many you should make.
Also mentioned in this installation of Factoids is the fact that there will be one new property.  We already know this will be the Nightclub.
Since all of the other properties require 4 common building parts to upgrade, it's safe to assume the Nightclub will be no different.  Here is the basic chart from the Mafia Wars Wiki Italy Property Page of what you will need to fully upgrade your Nightclub (if it's the same as the other properties).  Hopefully Zynga will make these items giftable soon or at least put the Stone Columns and Terracotta Tiles back on the Free Gift page. At the very least they should up the nerfed drop rate so players can upgrade their properties without being forced to use Reward Points!
The unique building item is the DJ which we have already seen floating around the news feeds because some players are able to request them (1). You will be able to produce them by doing the one property job mentioned in the Factoid.

  3. I think we will need really a lot of consumables. Depending on how you can progress on the job, you'll need something between 84 and 112 consumables per job. This could even be far more if there's a job with 1%-progression between.

Guess I can't do anything wrong with farming each 100 consumables beforehand - if I get to do that, I'm still 70 smartphones short from finishing Region 5.
At least something to do. :)

  4. Probably more than 100: remember that in R5, there are several jobs requiring Charges (depending on which or all the paths you take). Also R8 in Vegas had a job that needed two consumables.

I'm farming Italy already to get building parts, might as well do the consumable jobs, although their experience pay is lousy.

  5. I have close to 500 of each consumable, I'm hoping that is enough. In the meantime I'm still farming more, there is really nothing else to use my energy on.

  6. How On Earth am I suppossed to get the last fight in Italy done??? I'm at 68% and each hit pays 2 so that means I will need a grand total of 8136 Energy and 3240 Stamina to complete this job before I can fight the boss. I think thats pathetic... And all The energy I have spent so far in Italy I still dont have all my properties save one, the port at level 10 due to their lame loot drops... Thank Goodness for the extra 10% loot drop acheivement .... Yea Right I go through 1000s of stamina and energy and never see a loot drop!!!! I'm really pissed off at Zynga to say the least, needless to say

  7. Each 100 consumables surely aren't enough, but at least it helps for a good start and to complete everything on bronze or even silver.
The Assassin job (smartphones) hasn't a too bad XP ratio. But since I balanced my En/Sta around doing operations, that's good enough. I can do Ops with my Sta and farm consumables with my En and just get a level with a single refill.
