Mysterious Loot Items

Earlier today, 3 mysterious items started to drop for player when fighting. The items are a Candy Cane, a Tree Light, and a Ornament.  Mike Nestor got a Candy Cane while fighting (before he got the new Inventory page) and captured an image of it right away.

Very shortly after that, the image disappeared and he was left with this in his inventory.

Sometime after that this appeared.

Here is a closer look.

The new Inventory Page is a whole different story as none of these items can be found anywhere.  They show up in the Special Loot category of the old Inventory Page and have no stats so I'm wondering if maybe they are going to be collection items.  Mr. Simy0 created links to add these items to your wishlist for both the new and old Inventory pages.  These can be found by going to the Zyng Forum Discussion thread titled Tree Lights, Candy Cans and Ornaments?? or use the ones below.

New items have appeared there are no images links althou they have linked an image(http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menu/fail.gif) from a CSS site (are they needing tips? lulz) So far they appear to be dropping from jobs and fights, but in the high numbers ie 1000 stamina for one item, if you want to skip that add them to your wishlist and start opening misery bags! Now Jen (mwlootlady) pointed out to me that Zynga killed the old wishlist links for people with the new inventory, BUT never fear i r here. For people with the old inventory these links will work for you. Ornament Tree Lights Candy Cane For people with the new inventory these links will work for you. Please note that since i did a rush job of creating new links you will get a white screen with an error message "ERROR 500: response never closed" but if you close that tab and refresh your MW profile page you will see the item has been added to the wishlist there (under your skillpoints) Ornament Tree Lights Candy Cane - Mr Sim y0

I have the new Inventory Page and it took me a few tries to get them on my wishlist.  Make sure you have a vacant spot on your wishlist before you click the link.  You will get an error code shown below.  Close this window and refresh your Mafia Wars profile page and it should appear on your wishlist. We don't know what these items are for so I'm not so sure it's a good idea to have them on your wishlist.  From what I can tell, you won't get any of these from opening up Mystery Bags.

Yagami9999 pulled all of the images from Mafia Wars Wiki Temp Page that were added yesterday and posted them to this same forum board thread.  We don't know for sure what they are but it's speculated that maybe a new Operation (formerly called Missions) is coming out.  It's also rumored that the Missions (formerly called Quests) will be released in the very near future.
