One of the major complaints about the new Home Page was the lack of notification whenever you receive a gift. If you check the Your Mafia Activity Module, you will now see gift notifications.
I sent myself some gifts from my energy account and when I returned to my main account the notification was there.
Once you accept the gift, you can "Send Thanks" and you will be directed to the Free Gift page.
When that is done, the window will refresh and the next person who gifted you will appear. Mike Nestor sent me some gifts and here he is on my home page.
The new Inventory Page will also notify you via a pop-up that you have new gifts. Here are the gifts from Mike.
When you click on 'Send a gift back", you will be directed to your gifters Mafia Wars profile page.
Here are the pop-ups from my energy accounts. These work just like the old system as in once you leave the page, the notification will disappear. If you have gifts from multiple mafia members, make sure you open the link in a new window so you can gift back to everyone.
These are great additions and hopefully will make all the players who suggested it happy. Zynga is listening to our feedback. Now we have 2 gift notifications instead of zero and 3 places to find Player Updates!
its nice to see zynga doing something usefull with the new page lol pity they cant fix the glitch where it shows our game progress lol says im 96% complete in vegas but in reality im 100% done with the whole game
ReplyDeleteOn the main, the mafia activity...if I clicked on its box to help, give gift or revenge...then I when to do some jobs, comeback....I still sees the previous box...its seem not automatic updated..!
