I just got the new Missions feature and don't have time to fully outline it for you right now. I do want to report that the rewards offer massive experience points and this will change the strategy of how we play the game! When a Mission is complete, collect your reward and a new one is automatically assigned. In the Mission below I received 2,405 experience points!

ReplyDeleteThe missions eventually get harder. I completed quite a bunch yesterday on my energy account but eventually got a mission that requires me to build two items at the Weapons Depot. You can, of course, buy a reduction in the timer but for most of us that will set the speed at which we finish missions.

ReplyDeleteWell from what has been reported so far, missions tend to get harder as we complete them, so not sure about the XP's getting "nerfed", might just be a nice bone they throw us for the beginning...

I am more inclined to believe the missions will be harder to complete and eventually will lead to RP purchases to complete faster, as we can see with crafting an item twice. Most likely more challenges following that suit will surface as we unveil new missions.
But they will most likely "adjust" some of it in time, like they do with pretty much everything in this game. It's only natural, as they can't foresee how things will unfold when they decide on a new feature.
Well, we can only wait and see, I have the new Inventory page already (which sucks ass BIG TIME) but not the new Home page...

to sum it up: a litte percentage of well selected players gets a big unfair adventage by being able to get massive amount of xp that other players (and I bet its emerald one) are not able to get. f*** that, zynga

ReplyDeletehigh level player not much concerned about XP as in my level i need about 47k to level up so 2k thing I'm not seeking but the most important is high stats loots and also not to be forced to use RP to finish parts of mission as building two items in port(no way to pay 16 RP to get 2 SP or looks like i need more health to get 2 tiger claws)......it looks like Goals in ville series at zynga games.....

Just a question about the inventory page: Am i the only person who still got the old page?

IF they lower the XP it will be unfair to the players who did not get the missions right from the start, or? since some players got a lot of XP for almost nothing while others by no fault of their own get different XP, this is discrimination right here, and that's a very negative word...
ReplyDeleteI received 17,500 experience points in some missions. All others are around 15,000.
ReplyDeleteits probably a percentage of what experience u need to level to the next one... for me its been close to 10-12% of 10000 which is around what i need to advance a level....

ReplyDeleteMy level 2800 has them, and got over 5k XP for the first one, slightly less for those that followed. I have not finished Vegas or Italy yet. I am already able to level continuously, so the XP means almost nothing, here. Would be great for my fighter account though.
ReplyDeleteAll players get the Missions. The players who are not yet finished with the cities will get "city based" missions that players who are finished won't get, but per zynga, the rewards for those city based missions are the actual mastery rewards so those players will not get anything that the rest of us don't already have.
