New Crates are available in the Marketplace. These are called Armor Plated Crates and cost 12 Reward Points for one and 35 Reward Points for 3.
Since they added the ability to see what's inside by clicking on the question mark, it's easy to see that these Crates have better loot than the ones seen in the past. It's a little confusing because the image from the Marketplace says you have a 30% chance of getting an uncommon item. When you look at what's available, there are only common and rare items. Maybe there is a mistake and the second row of items should be uncommon. Based on the stats, this is probably what's going on. I still think it's better to spend Reward Points on skills for your character but if you can't resist, try to wait 7 days. Most items in the Marketplace will be 50% off for the Black Friday Raid.
